I don't blame you anymore
for the lies.

I don't blame you anymore
for the betrayal.

I don't blame you anymore
for the deception.

I don't blame you anymore
for the carnage.

I don't blame you anymore
for the agony.

I don't blame you anymore
for the abuse.

What you meant for evil
Jesus used for my good.

"No weapon formed
against me shall prosper"
not even hatred.

Jesus  says,
I am cherished.
I am loved.
I am forgiven.
And because of Him,
I don't blame you anymore.

Looking back
through the years
writing poems
wiping tears

The past is gone
will not return
the future's bleak
reflect and yearn

" The good ole days "
not supposed to live there
it's against the rules
but can't stand to be here

I'm going back
and shutting the door
will not return
to the present no more.
