What are they anyway?
I don't know,
I was chewing gum.

I think it was about a thing!
Since I remembered it must be important.
It started with an r and had a nice ring!
The chewing stopped as did the self absorbance.

My vision blurred and my eyes faded.
I entered a world were my mind was elevated
Something was different
I felt a little less dull,
A little less high,
And a little less numb.

I found a girl standing next to me
She seemed fairly familiar.
Tears rolled down my cheek
My eyes began to quiver

She whispered to me a word I almost forgot
When it slithered through my ear I wanted to rot.
It became dark and the light started to dim.
The new world collapsed within.

I remember the word!
I blinked rapidly realizing I was back
Remembering the responsibility for my dead sister on my back.
