I

It Broke your heart to move you,
From the town, that was your home,
Away from friends who loved you,
To the world of the unknown
We knew the pain and suffering,
Had destroyed,your inner soul,
It was your closest friends, around you,
That kept your strength,a whole.

You Appreciated, all we did for you
You were a loving,caring man,
You pleaded for my helping hand
To be back,where you belong.

It was hard for me emotionally,
Where there was nothing i could do,
You still had your capacity,
It was out of my hands, you see.

I know your wishes,in your heart,
Meant nothing,to the rest
You gave your trust too freely
And always did your Best.

It's only the last few months of care,
Has your family, bothered to be there,
You used to ring for help at night,
Where were they? Not in sight.
I loved to help you,ll i could
I'm sorry I could not help you more,
To Bring you Home, before Death's Door.

I'm Glad I have my Memories,
That your Family,cant take away,
The Heartaches and the laughs,we shared,
Will be in my Heart,to Stay.
