Imagination's Dignity
Sylvie Wild Dec 2018
I wish,
I was a squirrel,
I'd make people hurl,
Get that girl,
I'd go the distance,
To find resistance,
I'd chitter and chatter,
Yell it's my planet too,
Control my own fate,
I'd muster up irons,
And fire those nuts,
Count up the squad,
Workout the Quads,
I'd be the biggest,
Baddest ***,
The other squirrels,
Would come churl,
At my fine witness,
My pretty fitness,
With giant fluff tale,
And nest fit for the stars,
I'd be a royal pain,
For my own gain,
I'd show them hows its done,
How things are meant to run,
A mental score,
The acres of treedom,
Scream out my freedom,
At home in the forest,
****** ******,
Bitter end,
Revenge on the mend,
The master of my own den,
I'm a nut,
I'm a squirrel,
I'm a tree,
I'm me,
Nature's finest,
Mother's creation,
Father's Love.

Pretend must End
Sylvie Wild Dec 2018
Surmise, Surprise
Repress the memories
Those major moments
That make you human
Individual You
From your bag of tricks
The greatest plays are writ
Follow the sun
Smile at the moon
Pretend it's ok
To get through the day
Wear a mask
A clever disguise
Till you fool even yourself
At a game so twisted
In a world of woe
Seasoned so
Selected to know
We pull the wool over our eyes
Become willing to incorporate
Our many mistakes
Bitter heartbreaks
We hid in ditches and caves
Run from the spotlight
Write pretty ditty's
Mend and compromise
Our morals
Our compass
The aftermath passes us by
Yet we promise no lies
Live no surprise
No filthy surmise
Give birth
Then we die
Turn to earth
Without having once lived
The stone is blank
When we lay rest to our head
Souls have we
Pretend not to notice
Ignorance is bliss
It's too hard to admit
Without feeling
Hurt clearly seen
Is embraced by a sneer
We're all in danger here
If we don't kick into gear.

Attitude's Altitude
Sylvie Wild Dec 2018
Creativity has escaped me
Not a thought
nor sound is uttered
This gig has me upside down
I just wanna frown
Days are long
I'm drowning here
Among the rubble
of infamous moments
Then back I go again;to breakfast
A plain bowl of oats
A cold cup of joe
5 hours rest, at best
A sick newborn
O, Lord I pray
Just not today
Smile on me
Shed some light
Before I breakout
That awful fright
Life is full of delight
full of pain
Name it, before it maimes you
Always you'll be wondering
Has the score been settled?
Was victory won?
Kiss the trumpet goodbye
Say hello pig-sty
Why not join the worms?
Down in the dirt
They seem content
to enjoy the decay
They draw nigh in comfort
To dark oozing mud
It's there or the sky
A twisted tumult
on hurricane red alert
Don't be a fair weathered friend
for sure you'll get hurt
Your'e losing altitude
Yet picking up speed
Momentum is dropping
And you have your needs
Sky plummeting hell
Turning and churning
bound for the ground
Funny how the bird
dines on the worm
It's shelter is spurned
Yet deep, deep in the ground
The worm is found all safe and sound
Sheltered from the storms adamant thunder
Till the aftermath
The ***** fact
The rains dispersed
The sun has rose
Out comes the beak
And with a sharp tweet
The feathered fellow, has come to dine
on that earthly mind
Seems the bird has beaten the worm
But what is a trophy without a nest to return to?
The hurricane leaves
the trees all a mess
This hapless handful a homeless reck
No-where to return to
Nothing to do
A paragraph, a phrase
A bitter rage
Different seasons
Different emotions
Fight or flight
Dig a little deeper
Or, fly a whole lot higher
There's no winners, nor losers
Just different circumstance
Us, doing us
What we must
Remember in the end
To dust we'll return
To be eaten by worms
Which are then eaten by birds
A cycle called life
We must all circle through.

Crazy Day
Sylvie Wild Dec 2018
My space
Room 32
November 21
Call me WonderWoman
Meet my nurses Laurie, and Nikki
Dr. Jensen
Internal Medicine
My story
I grew up in a log cabin
Didn't have no medicine
Maine woods
Never really sick
Except for with ticks
The oldest of 5
We're all insane
Want fame and a name
Important to me
And then there we're 3
In my family
I love, my love
To travel, read, and write
Stay out of fights
Play the game called Life
My goals by the golden shoals
Write a poetry pose daily
Write a book then maybe
Travel the globe
And grow old with a hottie
Make me some latte
Don't forget my space, my story, my goals
It's important to me
To make lots of noise
Raise some joy
Question about my cares?
Don't I dare?
Where to start?
When to finish?
When can I go home?
Another night
Alone
Another needle
*****
No thank you
I just wanna hold my Nya
It breaks my heart
To be so far
Yet very near
So hold on dear
This too shall pass
When we get to go home
At last.

Henry's ballad
Sylvie Wild Nov 2018
That mischievous impish grin he's wearing,
makes you wanna stop and start A-staring.
He's got no demise by what he's wearing,
there's no surprise where he is going.

Purple stripes, a little tight
faded blue jeans baited me in.
The gait is right,
the face has might,
that *** is tight.

He's feeling the moves,
he's got the grooves.
Little lady's right,
She's gotta sit tight.

Come away awhile,
let's play for miles.
The star's are out,
start tonight.

Who am I kidding?
It's a fright,
his posture's just right.
So don't start a fight!

The movement betray's the purpose displayed,
with manners and sounds,
this man never frowns.
He thinks like a King, drinks gin with a ring.

Sound the alarm,
call off the throng,
I am here, no fear.
It's give or take at any rate.

Hiding
Sylvie Wild Nov 2018
Beyond the rough exterior
A wall of pride and self:
Stubborn outlook on all of life.
Lies a little girl
Tucked up in a shell:
Bordered by a stone wall strong
Sits a torn heart
Ripped by hurt and sorrow:
Misunderstood and ignored
Wanting to be loved
Willing to risk it all:
Just to start again
She needs a Father's hand
A tide of love and mercy:
Covered by imaginary shelter
Under all that scorn
She is worn:
Lost and wandering all alone
Decided only thing stands
She is in the Master's plan:
Within His love she may abide
Unwilling to hide
The ground must be renewed:
Though the night is long the day is stronger still.

Wedding Bells
Sylvie Wild Nov 2018
To the Bride to be,
from the one who knows
your life story,
shares your secrets,
and your goals
Loves you,
quite as much
as the Groom to be
I wish you the very best
in love, in passion, and all the rest
A life to live within ones arms
He will hold you with abiding care
the joy you'll share,
the sweetest of kind
from candlelight to starry night
New cars to big fights
remember forever
your love that binds
your heart to his
no matter the plight
Never choose flight
Kiss and makeup, go and dress up
Dance on the moon
laugh  in the wind
Thrive in your twosome
before welcoming a third.

Mama
Sylvie Wild Nov 2018
I miss you like the days of Autumn.
Colorful, beautiful in every way.
I miss your soft touch in my life.
Your seeds and needs that molded me.
I miss you like I miss your smile.
Even in stress you were blest with a thankful heart.
I miss your laugh, your voice, your eyes.
I miss our disagreements, few as they were.
I miss the way we used to be together.
Like those thrift store runs and shopping trips.
I miss you more than the spring rains.
The seasons change without you, yet my love remains.
I miss the way you knew me more then I know myself.
How you called me out, tenderly folded me in.
I miss the advice you used to give.
Whatever you said, whatever you did I knew to trust you.
I miss the way you used to hug me.
Your motherly touch, it meant so much.
I miss the way your patchouli smelled.
Those hippie choices and silent noises.
I miss your care for every soul.
The tender look of love you spread, a fire, the second mile.
I miss you calling me 24/7, all the time.
Eager to hear my every adventure, to live in the clouds with me.
I miss your clever mind.
Ideas, creative messes, uncompromising messages.
I miss you morning, noon, and night.
Our talks by the moonlight, dreaming of warmth.
I miss the way we never used to fight.
The way you used your might to thrive when you were barely alive.
I miss you more each passing day.
I just wanted you to stay.
I miss not being able to tell you all I have to say.
So much has changed, yet you my best friend stay.
And I miss telling you, "I love you" with every chance I had.
So here it is, now you know, how I miss you, I miss you so.

Human
Sylvie Wild Nov 2018
Dark night
Mystic light
Wind blows
Through my nose
Here I go
Again again
Heart beat
You are my friend
Feel the Fear
And be free
Begin to rise
Take me to
A new sunrise
Stop and start
O, willing heart
Yield to know
Flowers grow
And then there's snow
Untasted state
The simple twist
We stop and stare
Fully unaware
Touch our fate
Meet me there
That unwilling gate
Unwind rewind
Proper fiction
Slow addiction
Trust is never gonna show
Or very little though
We stand alone
Surrounded by
Noise and silence
Bitter violence
Adhere to rules
Because we're Jews
Pharisees  and Hypocrite's
We eradicate
We dictate
Lie through our teeth
Sun of a gun
It's a hit and run
Try to control
Even the score
Follow the child
Study the ant
Eat that plant
And be healed
Blossoms grace
Our holy fate
We understand
The great demand
Fathers know
Mothers show
Children grow
Alive or dead
We face the masses
To contradict
Or reiterate
Our past mistakes
So concentrate
Relate
Give grace
We fill our plates
Drink our wine
Yet we are never satisfied
The search is real
That merry mile
Rainbow end
Or just begin
Mountains stark
Listen Lark
I hear and know
So willing grow
On the face of the deep
I'll show my seeds
Reap my reward
Scatter the flocks
The wolf I may be
But still you see
I am you
And you are me
Black or White
Both have two feet
A little nose
Eyes that see
Ears that run cold
Blocking the sound
Of fellow man
Are you alone
Or can you stand
Feel that touch
Electric connection
Eccentric infection
Intellectual affection
Who needs medication
When laugh we must
Or we'll continue to rust
We have engines to run
Places to go
"Please to meet you"
"Sir, I'll greet you"
From my hearth to yours
That yellow brick road
On 7th Heaven
We'll find the 11
Measure demise
Perfect compromise
In the sheets
A perfect freak
Love abides
It dictifies
Eradicates
Undermines
Grows in lines
And counterparts
Drawing circles
Around the human heart
We rush to find
Mt. of Olives
Oil fills the soul
Like satin to the touch
Paradise my darkest hour
Take me to that fallen tower
Face the demons
Talk to God
Love your brother
For another
Kiss the cheek
Like one betrayed
Forgive again
And live another day
We're all here
Just saying hey
Someday we'll stay away
Play it right
Till we fade
Return and fight
Now and then
Song and dance
Unholy trance
Just let go
Stop and breathe
Fill the need
Too ******* yourself
The frail flesh you be
You know your plight
It fills you with fright
Instead of delight
So taste and see
That God is good
And you my friend, are understood
Finite being
He abides
He resides
Safe in His arms
I stand
Unconfined
Unconfused
Uncompromised
At last I know
The secret though
Love looks down
And it surrounds

— The End —
