a wind spun
past brown trees
to green mountains,
they guard me.
the air clung,
fingers found my skin and
nails cut through me.
my body fades, and
ground deserted her.
a frozen landscape hung
quiet air gasps for green
and brown trees laugh
at unmarked cries.
the wind forgot to visit her
and she remained.
covered by the ice, a faceless fight
endures.
"how unfortunate."
seconds stayed, I
found her fate.
