Throughout the years I've often wondered
What makes the night, the rain, the thunder?
Who decides rules and all the new trends,
And where have they gone...I mean my good friends?
Fate has a way of drifting in
Bringing back both friends and kin.
If not in flesh in thoughts of mind
Your friendship is my favorite kind.

What I do and
Who I love ?
I wonder if I moved would they
Want to know where I lived
What I was doing
How I am or
Who I loved?
I wonder if I died would they
Want to know
Where I'll be
What, if anything,  I'll be doing
How I am and
Who, if I still love, do I love?
I wonder if this means they think I don't know
Where they are
What they do
Who they are or
Who they love?
