It's all about size
Too skinny
Too fat
    Society says your not good enough
Not the right size
Not the right shape
Not the right height
    Their standard of beauty
Is too much
Too unrealistic
    Follow your own standard
Find your right size
Your right shape
Your right height
    Your standard is the only standard

There's a cool breeze
It make the hair on the back
of your neck stand
You know that fall is on it's way
An array of leave falling
Flannels come out
scarves come out
Boots come out
And the wonderfully warm blankets
Fall is a wonderful time of year

I lay awake worrying
Thinking about what could happen
Different scenarios
Over and over
Not able to shake the thought
Keeping me from sleep
Tossing and turning
I can't change the past or see the future
But I still worry

Not really sure what to write
Afraid to share
Because I don't want to be judged
Im sure there are some that will understand
And maybe even relate but
I'm not brave enough
Too afraid
So i read out the “normal ones”
The ones that I believe that no one will judge
The ones that really aren't me

In school they always ask what your going to do in life
From the time you could answer until the time your pushed into the world
On your own is how it will be
No one can tell you what you will pursue
In High School if you say you don't know their mouths drop
If you haven't applied to college their mouths drop
You tell them to stop
Stop judging for not having a plan after High School
Tell them you have a plan even if you don't
Because even if you don't you'll figure it out
