You should not have made me
I will dissapear one day
And you will wonder why
But when you ask your friends
They won't know who I am
Because I never was
Greg Oct 2018
Every day I see my neighbor
Running down the street
An older man who never stops
It's really quite the feat

But today I thought
Maybe he's not just running to be healthy
I think he might be running away from something.

Maybe in his age he's seen a war or two
Awful and scary
Traumatizing to the highest degree
So he runs from the memories
Of bloodsoaked swamps and boots
Or his friends without their heads.

Or possibly he seeks a goal
To rise to the peak
To impress his colleagues
Who rest in stagnant heaps
And be the best him he can see.
The man talked about in this people is real, he's about 80 and runs at least a 5k every morning. He's insane.

Silence is a perfect voice
It embodies all languages
It speaks all truth and screams all lies
None know what sleeps inside
Silence is the perfect voice
Silence is perfect

I don't know what to do
I think I've gone astray
Nowhere to leave
No one to see
I'm lonely and obscene
I don't know what to do
My spirit's gone away

The end is a beginning.
turned onto it's head.
look in the mirror.
start over again.

Hollow Silver Tree.
I am not a lone adventurer.

Here are more.
So many more.
There were more.

The Hollow Silver Tree isn't hollow
And no matter how I run
No matter what I scream
I will never get away

Hollow silver tree
in the center of everywhere
what knowledge do you know?

you are the only thing I see
the only sight that shows
no matter how I run
this gap I never close

my company with no none
this existence is so meek
towards the Silver Tree
I waddle week by week
because nothing else I know
