it’s all chemistry
physics is the shuffling of chemistry

there have been four so far
never consummated
through ignorance and morality

today i’m a respiratory therapist
treating covid patients in a city hospital
the denial of science in this country
is having glaring consequences
the punks that we were at age 20
wouldn’t have been surprised
at the militant ignorance
of some of our fellow citizenry
