Solo Traveler Sep 2018
Listen close.
If you pay attention you will notice
A back and forth, ever moving toss of sound.
It almost seems like an
Invisible ballerina is dancing
On the surfaces of a glass dome.
Her fragile broken toes making
Contact with sand made solid liquid.
That sound is what keeps me sane,
Between the sinking wallow in my heart
And the violent shriek in my head.
Solo Traveler Aug 2018
Live each day
To lose yourself.

Following that
Untethered in-between,
Live each day
To find yourself.

When the ribbon that defines
The losing and the finding falls free,
And the two become one,
You will be content.
