How could I be so blind
not to open my eyes

Hearing the rain
hit on the window
and on the windowpane
making an echo.
It's a lovely sound
like a beating of a drum
knowing it can be loud
Heaven is where it's coming from.
When  you hear it hit
you know it's here
soon it will quit
the sun or moon will appear.
Rain is making the flowers grow
and cooler weather too
yes you'll see it go
because it's done & through.
So you'll be able to lie down
once it's done & gone
then you won't hear a sound
means it has moved on.

Waking up to see you
knowing what I'd find
Is our love is true?
Turning to each other
With a smile on our faces
holding one another
ready to embrace.
Your  arms around mine
feeling your loving touch
knowing everything's fine
makes me love you so much.

I've been waiting for
Our lives have begun
Love has opened a new door.
We both have the key
to the door of our hearts

The day of Independence Day
With the rockets in the sky
Celebrate it in every way
Watching the fireworks fly.
Honoring our number one flag
been with us since day one
We've got the right to brag
served its purpose when we won
Always pledge allegiance
to the flag that's ours
because of its elegance
it waved for so many hours.
Fought the war
land and sea
We conquered more
so freedom can be.
Though many had died
to save our country
Many did survive
their bravery for you & me.
Bombs bursting in the air
exploding in the skies
Our flag was still there
waves but never dies.
Except with pride
all the stripes & stars
Yes, we're satisfied
for we won all wars.

Now a picture show
You can hear
The thunder hurts your ears.
When it rains, it pours
It happens day or night
Does rain on the doors
rain pushes with all its might.
The rain goes away
stars coming out
The sun shines today
be out & about.

where it all began.

You're not the same
ever since the last time
I heard your name
even gave you my last dime.
Then you left me on my own
didn't tell me where you were
knew that I'd be alone
showed that you didn't care.
You didn't look my way
walked right on by
had nothing to say
not even say hi.
Then I saw you again
approached you & said
what happened to you then
gave me a kiss on the forehead.
Yet I saw a smile
as you took my hand quote
got together for a very long while

knowing what life's all about, needing somebody there to help you.
Because if you have a problem
One thing left to do.
And Jesus will help you solve them.
He's always there for you.
One thing you do not think
about the problem, you've got
It'll all work out
as it will help you a lot.
But soon, one day, you will look back on this.
Then you'll be able to say
