My soul weeps to the sullin song of life.
My eyes cry crimson, tears as cold as death.
The world so grey so cold and lifeless.
Reminded by each and every breath.

The heavens declare her beauty, the sun bows before the night.
The stars they envy, as they beg her eyes to behold their light.

The moon reflects the fire,
that burns within her soul.
Quenching nights desire,
with its enchanting glow.

Her heartbeat echoes,
in the still of breathless night.
Leading an arrangement,
of sacred lullabies.

The willows cease to weep, as they surrender to graceful sway.
Lulled by the sounds,
of midnight serrenade.

Our souls embrace,
beneath the moonstained sky.
Just for a moment,
suspended in time.

Then as the mist upon
still waters fade.
She disappears,
into the dawn of day.

I set my gaze upon a pristine sea of blue,
Trying to hold on to what is left of you.

Memories begin to fade into the amber sky,
as mother nature sings her sacred lullaby.

Amber fades to indigo, the moon reflects the sun.
Day and night dance together
and soon become as one.

Then a sea of emptyness plagues the midnight sky.
Darkness overcomes, the stars
betray the night.

At last I close my eyes, my breath begins to fade.
Now it won't be long my love and you'll be with me here to stay.

Spring

Spring exhales her gentle warmth
Morning glories in triumphant bloom
Dawning crowns of radiant gold
Adorned with drops of diamond dew

Songbirds join in melodic praise
Notes dance aloft the fragrance breeze
Waking the monarch to transformed glory
And snow white thrones upon dogwood trees

The distant oaks boast of their splendor
With resurrected hues of green
Celebrating with one accord
The warm awakening breath of spring
