Dr Ruth Tsopotsa Feb 2018
I shut the door
I sit on the floor
As warm tears pour
Flow from swollen eyes
And mingle with those
Of a heart so pure

I have tried all
But still the cries
Like a tidal wave rise
Banging on naked ears
Bashing against my head
My ****** are breaking

His *****, clean
His feed, done
His bath, he had
No fever, no ache
Examine him, l did
Still no source to find

They said with passion
Motherhood is pleasant
So why do l seat sobbing
Listening to the endless cry
Of my one week old
Bundle of pure joy?
