I've broken my chains so many times
I have committed no crimes
I've tasted cherries
I've tasted ****
And I wasn't very fond of it
But I felt so good
I felt so high
All my pain
Just passed me by
I have travelled from pole to pole
Many times I reached my goal
Only to have it taken away
Take your pills is all they say
But they didn't do what they said they would
They didn't make me feel so good
Bi-polar is my condition
But my euphoria is in remission
I must walk the extra mile
But this time keep a big broad smile

Euphoria is when when your natural brain juices join in harmony
It begins with hell and slowly turns to bliss
It can start with the blowing of a kiss
And give yourself and others a lift
Freedom is the goal
When you start at the bottom of a greasy pole
Let you heart and soul be strong
And you will have all you need
Without anger, hate or greed
And it wont be long
Until you start singing your own song
And when you release your fear
Then all your pain will disapear

Inspired by my friend Tony

Psychiatrists come to shrink my head
They see me spend my days in bed
They don,t like to see me up and running
To bring me down they use their cunning
They told me i was wrong
While i was singing my song
But i did no one no harm
I was serene and quite calm
I had the answer to all things
I was living the life of king
They told me i was ill
And gave me a pill
To bring my world crashing down
To erase my smile
And give me a frown
Phil Thomas Feb 2018
They con you into believing you are ill
To make things worse they give you a pill
They give you confusion, they give you pain
To put unnatural juices in your brain
In the hope that they keep you down
So that you can no longer act the clown
They are not honest and they don't care
All they want is money that they won't share
They are all completely rotten
And should never be forgiven or forgotten.
