Withdrawal of time,
From an outward world,
Stepping stones within,
Loosely paved to nothing.

A falling away of belief,
In time which was invested,
Battles won and lost,
The chessboard became congested.

What is right with wrong,
In a place where wrong is right,
The inbetween is grey,
Is it truely worth a fight.

A moment to which is held,
But yourself in your own hands,
The turning world of mind inside,
Conjure's shadows across the lands.

Taking out the hook of past,
While the fish of emotion squirms,
To throw it into the ocean deep,
Not to be buried with the worms.

I sit and find a peaceful place,
In which I disappear,
Only to realise wherever I go,
I'm always simply here.

Yin and Yang,
Mind and Soul,
Balanced,
On a middle road,
Between,
Good and Bad,
Right and Wrong,
Where,
No thing matters to spirit,
All things matter to man,
Catch a glimpse,
Feel it rise,
Then let it go,
We don't know,
Breathe,
Open and Closed,
High then Low,
Within is Without,
Then let it out,
Relax,
Light and Dark,
Life and Death,
Falling away,
Dancing shadows,
Hidden depths,
Peace.
Total surrender,
To what is,
To what I am,
and to what I always was.

A transparent glow peeks through a crack in the old door,
I reach out to the mottled handle and pull it open,
Silver light chases the darkness across the room as it fills the space,
I look out as the heavenly body lights the cool, still landscape,
Then all is dimmed by the passing of a shimmering cloud,
I look up at an orchestra of stars, singing with light,
Breathing in the cool air,
Breathing out into the world of twilight,
An invisible wind dances with the trees as their leaves spin and speak,
Flashes of silvers and blues flowering from moment to moment with ease,
The river salutes with a quiver,
Blades of light dancing across the surface as it meanders across a sculpted land,
An owl calls into the blackness of an ancient wood which is home,
Water takes shape in the valley below like a snake formed from a magic once forgotten,
The mist drifts, roams and rambles down the valley in its own effortless serenity,
Dew dropped grass glistens as it greets the flowing breeze, with a bow only to stand to attention for their next meet,
I see nature move as one in the stillness, as I nature myself move through the eternal space,
Gliding through the moment,
A silhouetted lone bench sits on stones which shine as jewels in the night,
Silence is broken as I step only to fall back into which it came,
I sit,
I watch,
And fade away into the beautiful tranquil night.

A ***** in one's armour,
Of a self once believed,
Is a space in the night,
Where everything's achieved.

Moving through the darkness,
Falling out of self,
Being who I thought I was,
Is never good for health.

Calling to the Phoenix,
As the ashes cloud the mind,
An eye that fills with water,
And a heart that starts to find.

Dropping to the space inside,
As the ashes settle down,
Is the knowing of a child,
But no actions of the clown.

Moving through the light of day,
As seeds being to grow,
Is the rising of the Phoenix,
To what I've always known.

A hidden door,
Within ones mind,
Is open to be lost,
Within oneself we do find,
A place in which has no bind.

Falling through a memory,
To a place which time forgot,
Is an innocence and beauty,
Of which we were never not.

Searching for what is endless,
In the endless search for self,
Is a space, a gap, a void, a crack,
In which there's no turning back.

Falling through the thoughts of life,
Like a never-ending book,
The beliefs of who we think we are,
But its never how it looks.

Always reading before and after,
Never the page we're on,
Skipping to a future chapter,
Lost to what has gone.

Blank page,
Pen moving,
Not knowing,
Heart showing.

I sit down on the soft grass and look around at the last memories of winter,
I breathe in the beauty of the moment and know spring is on its way,
I watch the long grass bend and submit to the cold wind,
Could things be anymore perfect in this moment, no change is needed for that.

I stare into the distance and can see the sea glistening and dancing with the sun,
I lay down to get out of the wind and watch clouds moving silently,
They pass over, under and through each other with ease,
The sun breaks through the clouds over me, I close my eyes and smile.

I pull my coat tight against myself as I stand,
I walk into the wind allowing it to blow my thoughts away,
There's a crisp noise as I walk on last years leaves but know they'll be back,
Everything goes together so well in moments like these.

As I walk I feel myself lighten on the ground and begin to glide,
I walk alone but know that's never really the case,
I feel my surroundings and feel complete and at home,
Presence surrounds me and I feel once again comforted.

I hear a family of horses before I see their beauty,
They run, dance and play at the amazement of life,
I feel like joining them but I can feel their excitement from where I watch,
I sit again and allow things to simply be.

They move into the distance but I thank them for their grace,
I continue with my journey with no real destination or meaning,
I know these times are pure and nature will always be ready to show me that,
I become grateful for life and the fact that I am part of it.

Butterflies dance,
Above the cool still lake,
Mirroring harmony as they move as one,
Autumn flowers catch the last rays of sunlight,
As they sit in space,
Accepting their fate,
The cooling breeze stirs the colours,
As my senses come alive and roam effortlessly,
A duck quacks and lands with a splash,
Silent ripples move out to stir the grass with ease,
Birds soar as they glide through life,
A hanging oak tree dips to see its own reflection in the stillness,
A gust of wind blows the golden leaves as they twist and spin,
Until their reflection meets itself,
Blackbirds search and speak,
As they move together over the damp ground,
The sun gleams and splashes its light from above and below,
As the completeness stirs my soul,
and the silence fills my heart.
