I have no prejudice whatever you see is what you get.
Just as it is unveiled by love or hate
I am not cruel, only faithful---
The eye of a Big God. Omnipotent, omnipresent.
Sitting at my desk I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is magnolia with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers and the
Faces and darkness separate us over and over.
Now I am a lake. A woman watches over me,
Searching my heart she reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those erroneous fools,
The candles and the lamp and laughs.
I see her back, and like the lake it mirrors faithfully.
She rewards me with tears and an openness of hands.
Am I important to her? She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me she has drowned in a lake of emotion.
Ever longing for peace of mind and the freedom to be
Like the mist on the lake, brooding, hovering, watching.
In a breath she has gone, yet I know she’ll return.
Preparing the way for the Light of the world.
