One after the other,
They come,
Give me promises they’ll stay
But they never do
Who are you all
Lovers from past life
Haunting me
Torturing my soul
Why do we come across
Why is god so cruel
Sending me souls
That are not meant to stay
Without sending me the ****** soul
Who is destined to stay

You stare with amazement
As my heart writh & quiver at your feet
I point a shaking finger at it
While i continued to bleed

I saw tears gathering in your eyes
But you were hasty to turn your back to me
To wipe them away
Though im weak, i saw it all

You turn your head over your shoulder
To have a one last glance
When you left me on my knees
The burdened heart which lost its nourishment,
Seeked its peace

The pages turn idlely
The teachers' voice fades away
As she, stares in space

The soldier with his gun poised
Stares at the moon
Dreaming of home & warmth

The gentleman in his luxurious car
With his head full of problems
Drives with a grim look on his face

The beggar girl with ragged clothes
Searching through her eyes
Of long lost, hopes and wishes.

Take off the mask
Peel it off
So i could see your true face within
Why? Are you not willing?
Afraid that i will see the
True nature of your heart?
Or too gentle to hurt feelings?
Maybe what i will see will hurt me
And hurt you too.
And the ugly, protrude parts of body and mind
Should be covered from prying eyes
After all
