You'll never walk alone" as the song goes

Do you know what to expect?, hell no!!!

Patrolling the streets , you never walk alone

Every day we walk a hot zone

Behind every corner, down a dark street

Anxiety so high, you can feel your heart beat

I hear that song over and over in my head

Stay together, so no one else winds up dead

"You'll never walk alone" words to live by

Lord knows I've seen to many people die

I sing this song, silently in my mind

Walking along, villagers are kind

The Righteous Brothers sang a perfect song

It helps no matter what is wrong

"You'll never walk alone" I remember everyday

I'm going home are the next words I will say

"Never Walk Alone"

Spring time approaches flowers bloom
Tired of rain, dark skies and gloom
Clear blue skies, sun shining bright
Bears awaken from their extended night
Morning song from birds in the trees
Snowing melting from the winter freeze
Spring time approaches warm breezes blow
Streams and creeks, their waters flow
Trees cover the earth in a blanket of green
Fields of colors, so much can be seen
Spring time approaches warm weather arrives
Tilt back my head and enjoy the sunshine in the sky
As breezes blow I close my eyes
Listening to the music of the wind chimes
Enjoying the peacefulness of day time

Spring time approaches

I found a place I can feel free

Words on paper, no one judges me

It may not make sense, what I say

But at least I can write my troubles away

Thoughts, emotions, and feelings in my mind

My new poetry friends are all so kind

Words of kindness, love and support

Even if my poems seem to fall short

I found a place I can feel free

My imagination often overcomes me

Far off lands with castles and knights

The good guy always wins the fight

I found a place that I feel safe

Writing words brings me to my happy place

A place  where no one judges me

Wandering mind, freedom to feel

Nothing to prove, so my pain can heal

I found a place

My poetry journey has taken many turns
So much I write, so much I learn
It's o.k. to write what you feel
Pain and emotions are so real
I found my peace, no one to judge
Only acceptance with a lot of love
My poetry journey helped me find my way
This is one place, I think I'll stay

Space ships and unicorns thoughts unfold
Put it on paper, stories told
I found my place where its o.k to dream
Sometimes frustrations make me scream
My poetry journey has helped me grow
Helped me cope with pain of long ago
Weight of my shoulders found my peace
Writing is the best way to find my release

Standing on the street corner holding a sign

Please, anything helps even a dime

***** body, hair and ragged clothes

Wondering if they will eat today, no one knows

Holding a sign, such a lost soul

What happened to them? Life out of control

Alcohol,Drugs, often the case

Can't find a way to a safe place

Sleeping on the streets, which ally for the night

Back against the wall, ready to fight

Hit rock bottom, with no help in sight

Give themselves to God with all their might

Standing on the street corner holding a sign

Praying for just one person to be kind

Standing on a street corner

I lose myself in words of a book

Not lifting my head, no need to look

I lose myself in stories told

Reading words of stories so bold

Fantasy adventures things kids only dream

Far off lands, night time and moon beams

I lose myself to escape real life

Tension so thick, can cut it with a knife

I lose myself in words of a book

To a place I don't care how I look

No judgement passed, no constant stares

Lost in a book, I don't care

Anxieties fade, I feel relaxed

My mind unwinds, my body collapses

Comfy spot curled up in my bed

Warm under the covers, pillow under my head

Page after page, one chapter left

Feeling sleepy book on my chest

Couldn't make it to the end I did my best

Your body was laid to rest today
On a clear blue sunny day
Military honors is what you deserve
We love and thank you because you served
21 gun salute in your honor
American flag for your girls
Your friends here to honor you means the world
I know that you are finally at peace
You are free from pain
I won't let your memory die in vain
I look to the sky and tell the girls to pray to you
I say daddy's an angel in heaven looking down at you
He would be so proud of what you've become
There is peace in my heart that you are in a better place
I will never let the girls forget your handsome face
