A quiet moment in time.

The quiet respite from all that surrounds.

a quiet moment of magnificent clarity of mind

a quiet moment of the greatest possible fascination and awe inspiring kind

a quiet moment to drink in the worlds achievements and also sorrow left behind

a quiet moment to feel the pain and suffering that starving and homeless and battered children to be found not wanting or help denied

a quiet moment in time.

A Mind to expose.

The midnight zone where creatures roam;

on the vast moors that surround you or is it lurking underneath a stone.

A death defying monster could be in his cave or is he in your home;

in the darkness, things can change from knowing quickly to the always unknown.

The feelings strong that there's a presence but you're sure you're all alone;

a mind of faces to haunt you while synapses have transmitted and grown.

Creaking floorboards and a dripping tap and your blood inside your veins have rapidly flown;

It's stranger than you think when the mind centres to those that terrify but not necessarily shown.

An image in your head corrupts every nerve in your body to the point of stillness when imposed;

an imaginary line that you've crossed without knowing and imagination has you in its grasp completely and utterly exposed

A cultural cup of tea

Coffee isn't my bean but give me tea leaves
A cup of cha do la not cocoa ta no ta
Brew me up chuck no Italian espresso like muck
Caffeine in the shape of a tea bag in a mug glug slug glug
Two sugars please love as I wink to see her breast in the gaze of my eyes pleased
No Darjeeling just plain old tea with a tea spoon and a bag to strenuously squeeze
A British moment of the day that almost everyone lifts their cup and elbows to the skies
I am an English man and I will have a decent cup of tea because it is in my cultural rites

Observe

When you think you have beauty in your life and it is taken
When you think the world is born of your own mind's eye creation
When lies are the commonest words spoken without deprecation
When the dark nights become your only truest salvation
When you believe in two hearts becoming one in loves manifestation
When I lie on a beach and hear the waves of the ocean in total concentration
When I see the tropical birds in many colours on a tree in congregation
When you walk with your thoughts and realise that living is just an observation

Dying  embers

My feet are drying near the fire in this meadow
I have travelled far to only find my self
I have cried along the way
I'll be seeing you amongst the butterflies in sunshine clearing through the misty fallow
We will see a brand new day
I'll build a house where we shall stay
The time is wounded by my ever growing lasting of my shadow
The eyes I once knew are old and swept away by tears deep and now are shallow
So I'll look for you no more than if you were a dream I had to wake
Looking at you was the most beautiful light of a morning rainbow
My feet are dry and what was once has gone to the grave.

One day we'll be kind

Once there was a place for everyone
No starvation no crime we all drunk the fruit off the vine
Now it's a price to pay the land owners to pick from
No freedom no time we can all thirst while rich do not mind
Once there was a place for everyone
people know why they must travel to live off the kind
One day at a time; One day at a time; One day at a time.

Shadows of the moon

Pure white sandy beaches underneath a purple moon
Car lights shine and split the light from shadows on streets fortune
Stars like beacons of the celestial beings flash across a vast night sky and to be enraptured is making my mind bloom
The ocean sweeps away yesterday and today is born again fresh and vital as we try to forget mortality and we are but shadows of the moon.
