Depression
Don't you think there are things that are just imbibed in us,
We didn't learnt them,
We weren't taught,
We just know them,
We woke up one morning and it's a part of us.

Like depression,
Sometimes I ask myself, is there a way not to be depressed?
Are there people who don't feel this way?
Like a submerging rage of a storm coming for them,
A silent crushing of the walls closing in on them,
The gentle whispers of insecurities,
Uncertainties,
Incompetencies,
Irrationalities.

The calm whispers of what ifs,
And whatnot,

Like Suicide,
Do y'all really wanna live?
Like you enjoy breathing?
You don't fill a heavy mental placed on your,
Heart?
Making you drag in every air you have to breath,
The excruciating pain of forcing oxygen in.

Like insomnia,
How do you guys fall asleep really?
I need to know,
Because once my eyes are closed,
I feel the darkness diving in,
Like an athlete in the Olympics,
Energies sipping in.

Like being clumsy,
Like seriously, do you guys not miss your steps,
Or crush under your own weight,
Hit your own eyes (of cause not intentional),
Cut your own self, maybe intentionally, maybe not.

Do you?

so you've said it all
or you've got it all wrong
cause my heart beats faster at the sight of you
or maybe not
if this could be love
then i rather not
cos this heart will stop beating and you look like am alone
the hand i once  hold on to
felt so cold
the eyes i look up with
makes me feel lost
this is tragedy, tragic
that makes it all happen

so you better love me
or not at all
cos this heart beat for you and it can stop
once i transfer my pain into melody
and finally i can sing the song
so here is where am lost
find me or lose me in the crowd
