As the sun slowly rises from the East
and spreads its glow over the Earth
Birds sing
Flowers bloom
And children laugh
While I once believed
The sun would not shine,
The darkness would not fade,
And the Earth would stay cold,
The Truth remained.
The light will always shine,
Even if blocked by the darkest cloud
It is still there
One just has to search harder
Never forget this simple truth

The world is in such a state
of disarray.
People hate each other,
**** for sport,
and burn words of anger and envy into the hearts of their neighbors.
Countries drop bombs,
**** women,
**** children.
Why? We all ask.
It does not start at this scale.
It starts in the hearts
and minds of each one of us.
It starts in our households,
our neighborhoods, and
our communities.
A collaboration of the vibration
from each one of these communities
shows its ugliness and we
all ask why?
We must, as a humanity,
purify our own minds
and our own hearts.
Love your neighbor.
Love your enemy.
Not for what they have done to you,
but for what has been done to them.
The only reason someone hates
is because they have felt
the stinging pain of someone else's hatred.
The only reason they do not love
is because they have not felt
the natural warmth and transcendent power
of love.
So,
love your neighbor,
love your enemy,
and slowly our hearts,
then our communities,
then our countries, and
eventually the world will begin to change.
Each thought and vibration of energy
is like a stone caste into a lake.
The ripple starts small,
but can cause waves on the other shore.
So throw beautiful stones
and leave the ugly ones to rest.

My world slowly fades to black
All I have known, lost
All the love I shared, gone
All the times I cared, no more
The past slowly becomes
a fading light
A raging chasm of blackness
Memories melt into dreams
and old feelings are wisped away
in the afternoon breeze
The winter is coming
and the sky tightens its grip
The snow ready to blanket the earth
But, just like every year
the spring will come
The warmth of the sun
radiating its light
to thaw the damp earth
The spring will bring new warmth
and...
New hope
The world will once again
fade back to light

You once were
The love of my life
The other half of my heart
I gave my whole self to you
Now here I am broken and abandoned
You once were
A shining light in the world
At least my mind's eye
My world
Now you left me with half of my world
You moved on
And I will too
Because the image you once were
Is poisoned and cold
You once were
Light and warmth
Now you are cold and dark
You once were
And now
I Am
