Caramel Heart
Tristan Neve May 2010
Stand together, under the trees;
Warmth and togetherness is strong;
Bathe in the golden summers, long and lovely.
Cover yourself at night, don't let the lizards in,
For the glorious benefit of auburn nights.
Wind blows heavy and loud, crushing my hopes.
Naked creases form upon the soil, converging,
On the veranda where we sit sipping teas.
I talk slow so she will understand me,
Her caramel heart melts under my hands.
Unearth the bodies we buried before.
A long lost memory sits perched on the sink,
Its cat eyes stare loathingly at our actions.
Fire and water pour a steamy love.
She just won't listen to the sounds of life.
One day, i will look back at my birth,
Was it worth the pain i brought?
A wasted skin lies in the alley,
Drugged and ******, cuts along the spine.
Clouds decend upon the wedding reception,
Smokey and fragrent it pulls speech from speakers.
Knives, pierced through silver lungs.
Kindred spirits pile up in the gutter,
Never finding true peace.
I thought life was worthless,
Now its totally pointless.

Goatman
Tristan Neve May 2010
Can't keep up
Sleep passes by
Haunted by the forest
Little pieces of sky
Land softly on the stars
Branches caress
Dead fauns
A restless wilderness
The janitor works late
Cleaning up the mess
All thats left
Are flower petals
Forbidden by men
Runing the way
It was meant to be
Seven long days
And nothing has
Been accomplished
Deemed special
Better than the rest
The bears and foxes
The seals and dolphins
Running from saws
Caught in a web of chants
They are brought to
A place
Covered in paste
Its beautiful,
Peaceful and rich
From the clouds
People look on
Rest with the intention
Of never awakening
Forced gods breath
Just in case of fire
We wait for the sun
Under the canopy of
Gas and waste
My own thoughts
No one else would think
They must become nothing
To be worth something
Scared and weak
Everyone is something
Who was born of another
Gospels sing praise of
Thankfulness
Who woulda thunk
We'd be so stupid
Building ground over
Our used consumption
Sometimes i sit
And think
And write
And lose myself
In the reality of everything
But what everyone knows
Is accepted without question.

To you, who has read this, i thank you.
You are very patient.
Lol.

Boom Ankle Groove
Tristan Neve May 2010
Astro space dust peaking over the bows
Jesters prance across your belly causeing blindness
And practical giants pick your clothes for tonight.
Although we have danced together
Yesterdays lunch backs up our crusades.
The spiked pants have formed a crust
Around the water bed
Filled with the tears of your family.
Your halos burn in the fire of the ages
Scorching the carpet.
Liquor and wine fill the packs
A toast to life is a thirst quenching mission
Taking away our lust and bleaches our skin
Forgotten births spread across the floor
Covered in last nights brew.
The night bodies jangle around under the gauze
Bells toll in the distance but the breath drows it out.
Under the bridge, behind the stores,
In the Inns, out inside.
The physics are catestrophic in their own way.
Crys begin once the breathing stops and the men leave.
Today we are creatures but how did we get this way
Who was the one who came up with the idea?
Don't question yourself
The leopards can't chase you forever
Give yourself to the hunters
They starve another night.

The
Tristan Neve May 2010
The
Shes the sky and the ultimate waves
Persued and fried, you and I can't sleep
The seven animals outside won't be still
There's glass in this drink
And its all covered in pride
But if i would drink it
Colossus and the party
Will dance until the knights sit down
Coked out faces shining in the cupboards
Worn throughout the ages by preachers and worms
But the lakes will back up
And the trees will grow to the sky
The rivers will run pure and clean
And men will be there too
All we can do is think back
Justice will be a mighty song
Ringing through the telephones
Too all those ducks and salmon platters
That wait in the upstairs lavatory
Someday I'll spin you a tale
Of ships
And of sailors
And sunken treasure
But thats not today
The cobra den hisses and moans to the radio man
He won't hear a thing until he's spaced
"Send him to the gallows" shouted the crows,
"Rip his skin with the axe" yelled the bag boys
"And crush his thoughts with the rocks" screeched the roads
But alas his tale is mixed in bowls of negativity
And his body is now in the shoes you wear
So now i'll say these words
And frown upon your face
Because we're all gone now
And tomorrow we'll be back
But we'll never be the same.

Flaccid Castle
Tristan Neve May 2010
The gods all shout and sing
And don't push the wine aside
Won't you call the sea?
An orca is lost
Disturbed by the big feast
And mulched in the bed
Your doctor will not say
And his spirits can not talk
So you must die alone.

Hands Made of Would
Tristan Neve May 2010
Garbage spilt across the moonwalk
Rushing to the gutter
You must be the hunter
Nothing's in the bread
It's all gold and glitter
In the mourning I saw the dawn
And your face resembled the sun
Costs for coats rise with the tides
Juice from the earth
Tainted at birth
Stumps sometimes talk to me
Their knowledge is their girth
A repeating course
Paused only when we meet
The clouds spurt stars
Creatures birth creatures
But they can't be called creatures
Solid soil poured over us
In a shower of mothers
Your hands are covered in sap
Someones head is in my lap
And our fingers overlap
Poison feelings delivered by bus
In a box of tissues
Issues between the lines
Fantasy comes through the door
Holds you tight
Won't let you go
There's no money for the poor
And ain't it love?

Tepid
Tristan Neve May 2010
You search for the answer
Of your survival
All you find is old dust
On the books
Across the fields
Through a pile of sand
Hunched behind the wheat
A girl
And her grills
You talk to her in muffles
Standing on her truffles
And she scowels
An owl watches
Truth hidden behind his eyes
He wants to tell you
But you won't listen
He's just a bird
A caress over your brow
Sends you into sleep
Where you search for answers
But only find images
Friends; Cameras; Buttons; Relaxation
Planets; Mantarays; Bottles; and Scabs
What do they mean?
Questions fill your meat
As your feet lift into the air
And you become a hero.

Sesame Streams
Tristan Neve May 2010
Colourful bodies of water
Flow free from land.
Hawks dive through the waves
Of technicolour candy
And look for morsels
And look for dorsals
And fins of friends.
We watch them and sing
Hum and whistle
You look towards the mountain
I walk to the sea.
Splashes of inks
Splatter the shore
And the seasame streams
Flow no more.
A harp is played
In a cave by the road
A choir of fish
Driven from their home
We did this.
God, we did this.
And power is gained and lost
Because we did this.
We dried the lakes
We drank so easily from the earth
But things we never thought about
Now linger in our minds.
No more colors are showing
No more beauty
And now we're going downhill
I hope we had a good time
With our hearts in our hands
We sit in the sun
And watch it set.
Dream of tomorrow
It won't be there.

Pony Meat on a Taco
Tristan Neve May 2010
No!
All is havok
All is pounce
Brush a bruise over your eye
You're filthy
*****'s eyes
Some men hit
Most men will split
Show them your good side
****
Then shower
Gravel built from monuments
In the catbox
The meat you eat
It has a funny flavour
Cars sure are fast
Say
All your words slurr
All your friends purr
Mud lava
Twig cities
Wonderous beings
****** gasses
Double as a president
Gore
And sublime bliss
A rock of ****
Space rock
Bile gravy over turkey
Make baby sleepy
Another night down
And another ***** in
Your body.
