Drifting
Tristan Jan 2014
I know you keep a journal
And every page is rippeled
From the tears that you cry
That are going make you scribble.

'Cause words can't decribe
What you're feeling inside
It's like a thousand foot drop
And it's still on the rise.

But look up!
It's a beatiful sight
And see for yourself
You're not that far down.

But know this!
I can not love a little
My promise to you
Was unconditional.

I see you all alone
In a crowd full of "friends"
I can see it in your eyes
That your fading again.

But listen!
It's a beautiful sound
And here for yourself
You're not that far gone.

But know this!
I can not love a little
My promise to you
Was unconditional.
This is a sond that I revised a little, and took out the chorus.

War
Tristan Jan 2014
War
Death surrounds me
It wispers to me seductivley.
There are voices in my mind
It's like a thorn in my side.

There's bodies all around me,
God, I hope life's not what they see
Because life's not worth living
Right where I am.

He's coming,
Can you feel it?
Death is near
He calling, calling.

Will you come with me?
Will you stay by my side?
I need you there, when he comes.
I'm afraid to be alone.

He scares me,
Chills me to the bone.
He's coming for me...
I'm next.
I like writing depredding poems. I myself am not depressing, but it suits me well. I prefer staying to myself most of the time.
