Its tragic
To think you and I couldn’t fly
Away together on a bus on a train…a plane
Something..something to go off of but that’s a thought you didn’t share
Wouldn’t dare
Why would you care?
To me you see a meat sac
A broken stereo that wouldn’t play back
But I think the issue
That’s dismisses you
From talking
saying something regarding you walking
Out , about who the hell knows
But what I do know is how frigid cold
It got when you thought
You could try to hide it
Your devilish side kick
The one who you sneak,  just to get a peak
At the goods you wish
You could get
Admit it, your stuck
Bet your last buck
Luck? its about to run out

Out of this reality
No way to look but self consciously
To me you’re an equal but you don’t see it
What do YOU mean?..you don’t see what you mean
To your family
To your friends, the ones who've had your back from beginning
to end
To all of those lives you’ve touched, it meant so much
But

It’s a blue sky out yet yours is grey
What makes today such a miserable of a day?
Whats the point?..you don’t see what you mean
What digs into your skin and makes you start to believe
In what someone said to you in the past to make this anguish last
Its such a crime because you think you’re a waste of time
But the only waste of time  is to think of time as a waste
The only flavor you cant taste
You literally cant get enough of it
No immortality, but you can be free to live
In your own world- a world where you grow
Show the lessons you’ve learned
Feel those feelings you've yearned for
But before you go out the door
And try to face the race that is the human species
Try to make peace with yourself
No top shelf
