Walls of water
softly sing
the echoes of travelers
lost sorrows

sandy mountain shores danced through my head
as i went back to bed
and you whistled sweet things into the air about her strawberry hair

while dancing through the summer snowflakes and kissing the moon goodnight

Whispers of wisdom slowly speak small forgotten dreams of dreamers who let the stars go back into the sky
and let the
clouds
float back above their heads
and washed way the rainbows stained on their hearts like ink on a pair of scolded hands
swiftly
bitterly

red sees an autumn heartbreak
sifting through a winter breeze
winding down a narrow pathway
to the sky ahead
