#smothering
I am left yearning to drown, When smothered in your love. Breath, breath is optional, I live off of your love. Addiction, obsession, craving, Need, you are need, So I repeat the same words back to you, Drown me.

Drown Me
oil slicked skin, smothering sunbeams when did we get so far? once upon a kin, could we do it again? soaking up your energy like a sponge been waiting on your remedy for too long i have been too strong, waiting for the one

remedy
You wrap around me, like a fog. Haze of bitter sweet miasma. Smothering. Smothering.

FCK 666: "Moorland"
She fell into me and I couldn't let go. I wrapped around her, climbed Inside, and waited patiently. Soon, She will join me; become me. Her color, Her temperature, Her scent Will be me.

Water Traps
i like the rain. the sound, the smell, the feeling against my skin. its warm water seeps into my roots and and feeds my restless soul. but it’s raining a bit too hard, and my leaves are falling, my flowers are wilting. petrichor stains my stinging lips and fills my lassitude lungs. there’s too much water. rain turns to rivers and rivers turn to waves. i’m afraid i’m drowning. ― i need a minute to breathe

i need a minute to breathe
I am angry but too exhausted to express it. So it remains smoldering beneath shaking hands, and burning skin. Smoke gathers but it's not smothering the embers, nor the flame. No, it's smothering me.

Smothered
light flickers behind her eyes a spark? a flame? electricity? would Zeus approve of the lightning bolts her eyes seem to sling at me? if not, will at least Aphrodite grant me her blessing? it's in my nature, like a moth, to be attracted to bright things. the light brings me closer i'm aware of proximity i'd like to think i'm aware everything. but yet, the light dims in my hands: smothering stifling my love is suffocating my need for intimacy makes it hard to breathe. i ***** away anything that's close enough to me. the smoke clouds the flame forever gone between us. i'm sorry.

***** touch
Crush me, Add another blow, What will one little hit do, To an already drowned soul. Choke me, Smother my bones, What good is the body, With an ashen soul.

Depression
Dreams pretend you are not alive Broken and hallow You are a smothering lie. Creeping beneath my skin Poisoning my senses when I am lost Though surrendering Tell me why? I am still in the fire Burning in agony. No I won't cry I won't anymore! Tell me why? Why are you still alive? I don't dream Still you dwell In my eyes With every tear falling down I call out Scream with bleeding throat Tell me why Dreams say you are still alive A more of a smothering lie...

Smothering Lie
If you were a flower I'd drown you in water, burn you after you died, and keep the ashes under my mattress, then craft a poem out of your roots, and toss your soil into a lake.

"Sunfire."
God, I miss you   I miss you! (You miss me more) but I highly doubt it Does it ache in your chest when you think of how warm my breath is on your lips? Do your knees tremble and buckle beneath you after imagining our last kiss? Do you find yourself squirming giddily in your seat when you recall something sweet I said to you when we were in bed? Does your skin crawl with anticipation for our next encounter? Do your fingers fidget when the urge to divulge emotion is so strong you want to punch things? Do you fight yourself daily to just keep yourself at bay in fear of smothering me? Something tells me by your delay in replies and your nonchalant guise that you don’t miss me more than I miss you.

The silence he gave was smothering, and all too loud.
