Diet VS A New Way of Eating
Another huge turkey was caught The big pheasant was housed in the vault For consumption Not for admiration I'm neither talking about the wild turkey Who’s running for President Nor the one which is a country Now embroiled And roiled in turmoil I am talking about the noisy pheasant That we all like to fest on the last Thursday Of November every year, and on New Year’s Day. I can’t wait to enjoy its thighs and wings I can’t wait afterwards to make the swings Squeak and cry, because we all weigh more Than before: the skinny, the rich and the poor. Happy Thanksgiving Day everybody The President already pardoned a gorgeous turkey. Hebert Logerie Wednesday, November 25, 2015

The Well-Spiced Tafia Turkey Is Now Ready
I'm eating kale to slim my waist Lord knows it's not because of taste It took some while to appreciate The leafy green I love to hate The fibrous queen of super foods Can satisfy nutrition prudes, And comes in leafy shapes galore: Curly, Tuscan, dinosaur For variation I can gnaw This crucifer sautéed or raw, Just as is, or baked as chips, A smoothie blend to please my lips But having said all that, I'll add Too much of anything is bad, And I've been craving, as of late, A change of greens to grace my plate I now peruse the produce aisle To find the foods that make me smile It's time to choose my next big thing Like watercress or collards green I'll greet my new nutrition trend And say goodbye to you, old friend Kale, we've had a lovely run, But now my time with you is done.

Kale
. *Lay me down upon the moss, cover me with autumn leaves, rest my body in the forest to be swallowed by the trees, and let the fleeting moments whisper my name to the breeze, as the cool earth welcomes me, let me go with comfortable ease.* © Pagan Paul (27/10/19)

Letting Go
I want to be fit, but **** I love chocolate. I want to be ripped but **** that donut is so delicious. I want to be cut but I love the pizza hut. I want to be **** but the Chinese buffet just gets me. I want to be healthy and if it wasn’t for junk food I would be. I got the gym **** down it is the food that hurts me.

I am eating slices of delicious Danish Havarti Cheese: smooth creamy nutritious with calcium and protein; my tongue is enjoying the taste my stomach is enjoying the nutrition.

food as software
You know you are a parasite But I will let you feed off of me Sometimes I desire the poison And a little dose is healthy now and then Because what I have is also yours And I live for you, I eat for you, I survive for you Your primary host They say you will destroy me from the inside out But I lured you in, I consciously made you part of me You did not come uninvited, and that is the point You came willingly So I feed myself you as you nourish yourself through me A symbiotic relationship For I do not go where I am not wanted Through good and bad times we (d)evolve together A true matrimony Now forever covalently bonded

Un Parassita
*Staring at a graffito on the wall Sitting in her wheel chair Unforgettable visions crossing With a bleeding in her heart Cursing those days of childhood Making her motionless King of poverty disguised As malnutrition Grabbing the bliss of her life*

A killer
The soil brings forth precious gifts, not tainted by mankind But we choose to poison them, to me that is a crime Anything is justified when profit is involved But food should not be business because food is life for all Faster, cheaper, longer lasting; all these things sound great But the truth is most of what we eat is far from food and fake

I feel like I am neurologically deficient That a lot of my brain cells are missing Like a punch drunk doped up punk boxer A pimply muscle bound ***** on steroids Hanging out at my old high school locker No shocker that I am no medical doctor But I always thought I’d be just a bit better I guess on average I am a little bit smarter But the bar is set so low that it requires Very little to grow and go over it, you know In comparison to the other young men I may be grandstanding and one upping them But when it comes to grand scheme of things When compared to past people Who shared my glorious dreams Like Percy Shelley and John Keats Like Ginsburg and the other Beats I think I am drifting of course just a bit Lest we all forget the **** cut the crap to fit in it Maybe I’m okay few travel this way anyways So who’s to say if I’m doing it the wrong or the right way But I still feel like my brain needs a chemical treatment A diet with more nutrients and sufficient Supplements Because I’m feeling neurologically deficient

Feeling Deficiant
My nutritionist told me I need to increase my caloric intake and eat more carbs. I asked my nutritionist, “aren’t carbs bad for you?” She said, “No. Carbs are not bad for you, carbs are an immediate energy source for your body to use, what’s bad for you is not eating enough and passing out at the end of the day like some ***** ***** Now eat some carbs and get some meat on those bones before I order you a ******* pizza myself.” I should mention that my nutritionist is also my best friend. I call her Lady Reptar, because she is one. A lady, not a reptar, even though she’s twenty times more awesome than a dinosaur and fifty times nicer. She’s beautiful like a ************* daisy in the woods and she’s sharp and wittier than her cooking knives and she’s warmer than her father’s woodstove. "So, do poppy seeds count as protein?"
