#dispute
learning to cope
appreciating growth
it happens in seconds
manifesting endings
cycles don’t repeat
i watch what i speak
i retreat and debrief
within the chambers of me
wealth is simple
money rains
i collect each droplet
i harvest my vain
rebuke and dispute
all of the pain
transmute and pursue
my happiest way
no i don’t listen to cravings
no i don’t fold under pressure
instead i sharpen my awareness
my journey is not for comparing
i am where i am supposed to be
i need what i already have
no longer chasing things
no longer going out bad

A FOREST encircles us,
'Round our merry abode
Just beyond the river
Where falls the Autumn leaves
Spirits sow and fret
About in the treeline yonder
They laugh and dance;
And snicker at our petty little abode
Every evening of this Autumn
Has been their grandest theatre
The woman with running mascara
And eyes damasked in red
The husband raises his voice,
Like the church's choir bells
He knows not what he wroughts
And only the Forest may ever know

My hands reach for the door
Exhausted, just another day.
We never fight.
The smell of your perfume still lingers in the air.
Just as the day you left me.
Did you always seem to hate me?
I daydream as I fall into the couch
The life we would've had.
All alone again.
Did I betray us?
Not even a goodbye.
We never fought.
I sleep in an all too familiar place reminding myself clearly.
Out of spite.
Just like that I'm out of excuses.

Breathing out smoke
Into frigid air
Burning scars
Into my skin
Rubbing in the honey
To cement the makes
Staring at the sky
Middle of the night
Tracing constellations
Of words never said
Trying to reach the moon
With a broken pen
These words are meaningless

Accidents and mistakes vary in wildness,
seeking solutions
Trails are conducted according to order
Livelihood is a method of real karmic interaction
When two social or political systems
Meet
In dispute
If there is doubt
Will work toward
Killing the foreigner
Make the system holistic

*Fought like infants for an hour
Attesting they are not made for each other
Ending up their fight with a good-bye
Moving to the opposite directions like thunder
Waiting for him to call her back
Looking at her phone without a wink
Getting a call from him conversing with love
He came running to her back like
A child back to his mother after a rebuke
Hugging her, tickling her and making her laugh
Leaving back all the grudges
Hugging him tight to confirm her love for him
Believing a hug after a fight gets them closer than before
Where they realize each others flaws through these fights
Making their love stronger than ever!*

Disintegration,
Once quite lovingly animated,
Anticipation, pain.
Unprovoked “retaliation”.
Fairness: a fool’s gambit.
Compromise: what’s yours is mine……
left,
Just left.
That is all there is.

I will always remember the first day, we talked.
I will always remember the first sight.
I will always remember the first kiss.
I will always remember the first night.
I will always remember the first dispute.
I will always remember, because you remember me always.

There
Is so much negativity
In this place
That I
I can barely breathe.
And crushing
Crushing my spirit
When I want to make it better
Only hurts the healing.

*Walking the dawn in darkness
Passing the synthesis of stars
Who could you be looking for
On an hour shrouded in vice?
Do you seek the dame in bruises?
The dame who you shunned to do no harm?
The months may pass you by
But not your fears or your tears
This time
The cries are not your own
This time
You feel the need to compensate
For the distance that you made
To protect yourself from pain
Tonight
You have condolences to give
Tonight
You feel the need to chip at the ice
Before you turn and run
With no more ties to this crumbling estate
Your eyes were quivering so
Your lips were sealed by your own will
You dared not ***** your hands
Just glance and wear a smile or two
But now as the fool is raging
You fear that the dame may turn down life
As you considered once
When you sunk down all those years ago
This time
The cries are not your own
This time
You feel the need to compensate
For the distance that you made
To protect yourself from pain
Tonight
You have condolences to give
Tonight
You feel the need to chip at the ice
Before you turn and run
With no more ties to this crumbling estate
Do you wish to remain faithful
To your newfound passion for life?
Is that why you hope to reach out
Just this one time?
When you were a child
Your heart was shattered by violence
Cornering you into a hall of chains
Now you fear that there are other hearts out there
Running on the edge of despair
Could that be why
This time
The cries are not your own
This time
You feel the need to compensate
For the distance that you made
To protect yourself from pain
Tonight
You have condolences to give
Tonight
You feel the need to chip at the ice
Before you turn and run
With no more ties to this crumbling estate*

Gather up each emotion and label them one by one, boy
Seal infatuation up and store it in the basement
Out of sight, out of mind
Forget what young love really looks like
Sort your feelings into groups, middle child
Throw joy and affection away
Sew anger and harshness into your lungs
Watch the fury spill from your tongue
Sweep the sentiments underneath the rug
This is exactly what I've learned from your mom
Desert that fabric for the next generation
Leave them wondering where they got it from
Never wear your heart upon your sleeve, son
Keep your eyes cold and your heart hard
Don't ever let the tears blur your vision
Be a man, you mindless child
Let her smile fade from your memories, my puppet
I'm the one who's supposed to control your ways
Watch her eyes turn from evergreen to poison
Because you're the one she's bound to betray

*How long must this go on for?
How much of this do we have to take?
How did we get ourselves into this mess?
How do we get ourselves out?
How many times has this happened?
How hard could it be to prevent this?
How many days has it been now?
How many weeks, months and years?
How many times must we do this?
When will this ever come to an end?*

It was like the room was mute
After our boundary dispute
You are a person of repute
Taking over my pursuit
I wish you'd not commute
but everything is so quiet

You swell some strain on me,
You, middle kingdom!
Eradicating small detachments,
Of both sailors and marines.
They were ranked on islets and reefs,
With an integer of nine –
There in the island next to me,
I’m sure, you know who Spratly is.
Always wanting such detachment
To be eradicated by your own;
Now stationed
On a World War II era landing ship.
Your toy-ships came near me,
With 9-kilometer of the LST.
“It’s there illegally,”
How adamant that be!
I’ve tipped you off already,
Surely will I stand firm!
Then, you’ve countered me on! –
Opting for the ******** of more skyscrapers;
Those that are on stilts;
Now nearby two Reefs & a Bank? –
Nearby my darling Palawan Island!
“There is no room at all,”
For the negotiation on some point,
You’ve declared.
Oh, here’s my friend, U.S.
Left us with course of action to try;
Everyone calm down,
Be less provocative.
For often, he flies over;
Probing some stuffs.
You are the biggest offender, my friend;
In this dispute, you show no sign of slowing;
Or backing, down.
But hey, I won’t give up!

What do you do
When your heart yearns for one thing
And your brain wants another?
You listen a little bit to both.
But what do you do
When it is your heart that is in dispute
A half wants one thing
And the other wants another
Is it better to do then neither
Or is it better to mute them both
And listen to the conscience?
What do you do
When your conscience goes to war
With your heart and your mind?
You listen to the majority.
But what do you do
When you know the minority to be true
Because in fact, the heart is forever
In love with the conscience.
It is the mind, the mind it is
That tricks the heart
Into believing that
It is in quarrel with the conscience.
So what do you do, really?
You be a good human
And listen to the conscience.
