Why do we build up all the good things, Just to knock them right back down? Why craft a throne of fragile dreams, Then cast away the crown? Why sculpt with care a world of light, Then drape it in despair? Why light the flame that warms the night, Only to leave it bare? Are we the storm that shakes the bridge, The tide that swallows sand? Or is it fear that tips the scales, Unsteady in our hands? Perhaps destruction feels like power, A way to hide the ache. Or we rebuild because we hope, Despite each fall — we wake. For every ruin holds a seed, Each crumble tells a tale. And maybe, in this rise and fall, We learn we’re meant to fail. To fail, rebuild, and fail again, Until the truth shines through: That building up is worth the fall, For growth ignites anew.

We Wake
The stars shine bright in the night sky No clouds to be seen You shined the brightest amongst them Nothing could ever replace you Emitting your presence from afar Yet it feels close to me Is someone out there is reaching out to me? I was never alone all this time There was always someone on the other side She longed for me amongst the stars There I go, following the bright path Transcending amidst the pitch black sky I found peace in her arms Dear moonlight thank you For now I have found tranquillity anew.

Dear Moonlight 5 (Final)
See the colours Vibrant hues Look into the mirror, it's you Paintings on the wall How far did you fall Before you realized you were changing And not just rearranging Welcome back to you Dancing bright and true Unhaunted, undaunted Clear and breaking through With the spring I've sprung anew So much I wish I could undo Somehow I'll let it go A set of seasons done and gone And now I'm moving on

New Beginning
A name follows you- Even when you’re made anew. Neither can you leave your face, Or entirely forget your birthplace; We must have done some misdeed, In a past life, indeed, Because we’re of a lower caste, Doomed iconoclasts, Fighting for nothing, And eternally suffering. And when we’ve had enough of it, Enough of being misfits, When we realize it was designed this way, And that there is no “someday”, Then we’ll venture six feet underground, To tear a heaven down.

Anew is not to wipe the embarrassing stains of the past anew is to take them with you wave them like a flag wear them as a reminder of your former self a new beginning is often wrapped in the rags of an old ending

Anew
Careful dance Under the rain Only for once Hiding the pain Shoes on the damp Innocent road Glowing street lamps It's sleeting and cold Dust settled down They've survived Lucky to 've found Each other's lives Starting anew Hoping for more – They are the few Who made it through war

Starting again
all of a sudden its her vivid memories that started to fade like a photograph captured in a camera in grayscale effect { l.m.l.b }

photographs & memories
You are like a deep breath After spending years gasping for air You are the brightest of days After weathering months of storms You are peace after a seemingly never ending war But you’re not the air I breathe I can do that on my own But how nice is it to know that your breath can be synonymous with my own To know this is ours to share

Air
The familiar and well trodden Walked over each and every day Yet they still surprise and bewilder Not so much that stones moved Or grass grows blue or pigs fly But the eyes of the soul renewed Like a newborn child's first sight Seeing the world fresh and anew In every step you walked the walk.

progress
Today I was humiliated, shamed and killed, I stood there as that one condemned to th’ execution, Unable there to find no fair solution, Imbibe my words with soothing, lulling lilt It was as hard as walk through pool of fire Where all the other sinners boil to crust, But wade through this unstoppably I must To reach the other shore more vile and dire And at the end there’s nothing but great pain, As one realization starts to take me over And as the trunk it strives to roll me over, That all the path I’ll have to walk again So all the tape again, anew re-reeled Today I was humiliated, shamed and killed

The Vicious Circle
I know I should be sad at the thought of what we had being washed away, But a clean slate doesn’t sound too bad And I brought my umbrella anyway. What do you say?

Cold Showers
I stopped waiting for reciprocation that would never arrive, I stopped leaving the doors open for you when we left, I stopped letting others give me the purpose you Once gifted. I Started Anew To Renew

Here and Now
Someday we will get up from this mess of stirred blankets and soiled laundry living on piles of boxes and untouched documents old unworn garments hanging on the curtain rod The stench of manure and the old man’s unkept bags carried over last night’s binge and false beliefs with evidence of old computer notes to pretend he’s making money will someday be a memory Baking tools and sundresses will finally make it on today’s to do lists black circles will not be hidden because we were not made to be pulled apart like dolls When the time comes birds and the sound of leaves falling, the loud bang of the overripe fruit atop our heads echoing through the roof like the sound of nature telling us We are not frail for walking on steel bridges bare foot waiting for rain to fall like dancing Strongly the grip of the earth and winds churning about this house led us to these sights we cannot ignore to leave this place to start new maps with bare hands

When those who put us down , we shine. When we forget ourselves, we shine. We , us , our lives are a must . We can't lose touch , we shine . We show all those who don't feel, feel how blinding our beauty can be . We shine . Further then any star , we shine . So much beauty in so much insanity , we keep going , we shine .
