Wrong Universe
sylvia Apr 2018
You're such a stranger
As amusing it may be
You made me feel things,
But we're not even a thing

It was you who first felt it
You liked me first
But I liked you the most
And it was you who first left

You don't literally left
You just...
I don't know, I thought you were dead
You're just gone

I'm expecting your presence
But there was none
A day become days
Days become weeks

Then, we met
You saw me
I stopped, thinking if I should smile
but you passes, looking straight

What the ****?

I'm deeply confused,
anxious, sad and upset
What did I do?
What did I said?

Is it really over?
I thought.
No, this is just the first chapter
How long will this take?

The lights turn on then off
You used to turn the light on
but this time you turned it off
and I try to turn it on

You become my happiness
Any word you said
Any smile you made
It fades, it was never the same

Losing someone is my Achilles heel
I always end up blaming myself
I felt this all throughout
I felt that I'm going to lose you

All this time,
I'm trying really hard to keep you
For you to know that I'm just here
Always.

Well, this time
I made up my mind, I'm tired
You're really a stranger
A stranger I once knew

I'm in a wrong universe
I deserve to be in that universe,
where you and I never met
It would be a better story

— The End —
