Trapped in the dark
Sumaiya Cambel Aug 2013
Trapped in the dark, the light a work of art.
In my tomb, I am restless.
As you squeeze the life out of me, I'm breathless.
I await for your return, for my limbs do not work.
The earth packed tight over my grave; I feel no pain anymore, alas your words no longer hurt.
I have been freed from the pain you once burdened me with.
Never again will I want to jump off the cliff.
I will not fall over the edge, and run straight to my end.
For now I will just stay trapped, no, dwell in the darkness.

Time in the clock
Sumaiya Cambel Aug 2013
Time is frozen, in the clock it stands still. While time is sleeping, time shall be killed. Who's the murderer, shall it be love or hate? If time is shattered, no seconds will procreate. Time is priceless, but not money at all. Time is sometimes spent alone, while still standing tall. While time for this world shrivels, wilts, and dies, you can still hear the cries. Time can be made, and used. Time is fragile, and cannot be bruised. If your life is filled with mistakes, time is on your side. Time is not owned, not yours or mine.
