Who Are You!?
subbu moolera Sep 2014
Do you think you end by your demise?
And say, ‘death is a full stop’.
Or believe your spirit will somewhere  arise
a new, and opine, life is perpetual.

Reason me your picture
if you think the former.
Or, if doubt the later, think on those lines,
that I do as well, and have your say.

Every thing you own is ‘yours’
For the house that you own you say "my house”
Likewise for the  hand, in your physique,
you say "my hand"

Your hand or head or heart isn’t you
but, they are in you and is yours,
so, WHO ARE YOU!? Is there an essence in you
that keeps you going from ages to ages?
Neither we know our past ,nor our future; but, there comes a time in everyone's life to wonder Who they are..

The Voice Etched to My Soul
subbu moolera May 2014
The soul memorizes
All pleasant past;
Then it agonizes
The departure of fond ones.

Such were the times
By-gone by the journey,
That occasionally chimes’;
Memories sweet as honey.

As years rolled by,
Far flung the great times;
But those moments stood by,
In the melody of her rhymes.
When I was young and in school there was a singer who  I was inspired by, she soon became my friend. Things fell apart after schooling. She went her way and I mine. Even after many years her melodious voice still wriggles in my ear. In this age of multimedia browsing, I hope that I’ll  find her elsewhere. I wish to conclude this poem  after I contact her.

The Power Of The Invisible
subbu moolera May 2014
Ages may surpass;
I shall never from you depart.
You ceaselessly toss;
Me as a new life apart,
From one wrought to another due start.

I am like a wave
In the ocean of your creation,
That rush and rave
Towards the shore in tidal motion
Only to be drawn back, and sent a same.

Though having not
Seen you or so oblivion of
Your sight I shan't
Let my invocation cease off
Nor my ceremon will ignore your chant

Vast is the ocean
That my vision can’t cover
No one  can number
Many a star in the skies that hover
No one can measure the power of the invisible

Years run across
The time, filled with your passion-
Ages may surpass
But my affiliation with you shall never stop.
My metaphysical poem, about man and his renaissance...
Of relationship between Man and god
