Wanting
Starseeker Dec 2014
I know a day will come when I eventually fall in love again with someone new. Because that's the kind of person I am. But have you ever stopped to wonder that I don't want to love someone else? I want you. Still.
But wanting something is dangerous, especially if it's a person you want, because you don't have control over that. You go headfirst, hopeful, in. Without guarantees, and that **** is dangerous. You can get your heart broken for nothing.

Calm
Starseeker May 2014
I am calm.
I am calm.
I am calm.

Just breathe out,
Stay calm,
Stay here

Don't think.

Thinking makes it worse.

Don't dream.

Dreaming destroys you.

Don't do anything, or be anyone.

I am calm.
I am paralyzed.
I am nobody.

I am calm.
I am paralyzed.
I am nobody.

I am calm.
I am paralyzed.
I am nobody.

I am calm.

Small minded.
Starseeker Mar 2014
I am still not smart
Enough to ignore the small-minded
And I hate
So hate that the words they say
Ruins my day.

Part of me is
Lost to you,
In you and
Because of you

Maybe that
Is why
I cannot forget you

I try

I was once.
Starseeker Mar 2014
I was once beautiful
I was once free
Then you came
And took that from me

You said you loved me
And I was believer
Turns out I didn't see
That you were a deceiver

But the problem lies
That I've fallen for you
And I cannot deny
How I wish you loved me too

So now I am broken and lost
Running after you asking why
You turned this heart to frost
And just walked by

Me everyday, every moment
Joking with me as if I am meaningless
Keeping yourself on check--but you are no sant

–And I am not innocent–

Though the more and more I run
To convince you that it is not about the love--lack--but about why you did what you did to me knowingly that I will take it as you loved me
The more I seem desperate
The more I seem crazy
The more I lose my colors
The more I betray myself

And the less I seem like myself the
More you distance yourself from me
All because I want to know why
That merely makes my pain greater
Makes me despise myself more
For not being able to let it go.

I wonder why I do this
Why I try
But I am not like you
I cannot lie

So I love you
And you know
And I shame you
For hurting me so
And I forgive you
For leading me to this state
But I won't recover--don't ask me--it is too late.

Because:

I was once beautiful
I was once free
Then you came
And took all that from me.

Thoughts.
Starseeker Mar 2014
If you want to be--or are a writer, then you must stand up for something. Usually, writers are observers, and when you observe something you capture it's essence. You see the good and bad of it. A writers job is to express this. To have a voice. An opinion. To stand up and tell when something is wrong. Being a writer is not common. Writers form the future. Writers are leaders. Teachers.
And if you try to enlighten people. To cast light on what is wrong with society, then the authority figures won't like you. And they will try to silence you. Maybe even **** you (depending of course on your writing. What information you leak out. What knowledge you share)

Authority figures like to keep their sheep in the dark. And the writer cannot but like a light house shine. Bring light. And that is dangerous.

Being a writer is really a dangerous job. If you're a writer, it automatically makes you a rebel, I feel.

How love loves.
Starseeker Mar 2014
How often now, does love come and make you senseless, as  you stand there defenseless in the face of this great force that feels like summer on your skin.
You think it will be sweet. It will be real. It will follow the script and say all you need to hear.
But love is not like that at all,
Because love is not pink or red or rose bouquets.
Love is messy and confused. Love says a little and nothing.
Love plays with words, and feeds of emotions to grow art
Love is curious, but serious, never letting one hint drop
Love is a slob, that waits for the wind to sail some
New broken souls his way. Love killed me. Love made me restless. Love made me cry. Love made me dream of stars and...and love deceived.

Love didn't love me at all.
