love is like falling,
but never touching the ground
love is like a fragile flower opening to the warmth of spring,
love is like having the urge,
to constantly brighten someone's day
love is being under a blanket of comfort
that never grows cold,
everyone should experience love,
at one point in their life,
because it can change someone's life forever.

for that ball to drop,
counting down,
five, four, three, two, one,
confetti flies everywhere,
horns go off.
People shouting because a new year
has just begun.
There is People kissing their loved ones,
and smiling.
Then there are others,
watching the love between everyone.
People who felt lonely during that year,
and are prepared to feel lonely again this year.
There is People who had the worst year,
People who don't want to start a new year,
because they are afraid,
afraid to start another one...
