You
I can call you my sun
But in my eyes, you shine brighter
I can call you my air
But you leave me breathless
I can call you my prince
But no prince could be as brave
Thus I shall simply call you a dream
For no such sublime being can exist
A mere illusion appearing before me
Yet I feel your warmth,
Hear your charming laugh
And those are the flashes of happiness
That keep me going through the day
And keep my sanity in check
Maybe I'll just call you, you
For nothing else would do justice.

The sun sets on the decisions made,
Those that you were so proud of.
Those that hade you happy.
But your vision constantly changes.
All you knew burns in flames,
There in the horizon!
Do you finally see what you’ve done?
Does the luminosity of the moon make it clear?
Or is her gravity tearing you apart?
Either way all is set in stone.
The clock’s chiming at last,
And everything becomes permanent at midnight.
As thousands stare at time with weary eyes,
Tell me your sins and I’ll tell you mine.

Oh fulsome letter thou art meant for him
Thy words speak mine lingering heart and thought
Tell him of how mine stomach is in a knot
Of how the warmth and light have become dim
Sing the words with the heartbeat as a hymn
In the midst of morn the storm I besought
Life hath no reason without him, it cannot
I shall wait and seek of love on the limb
But love hath overmany puzzles now
Perhaps he dost not wish to hear from ye
Thau shall stay in my pocket evermore
Tonight we will forget him, this I vow
Henceforth only mine soul shalt wit my soft plea
The wretched curse is lifted, named amór.

Hello?
Is anybody there?
I just need a shadow to respond
In order to let me know that I’m not crazy.
And if it’s all a lie, at least ill have myself.
At least ill have time by my side,
Wrapping its arms, suffocating me in a bubble.
It’s safe in here,
Until the toxins build up,
And the oxygen runs out,
Then the flickering candle shall perish,
Leaving me alone in the dark,
With the same shadows.

Inside us is a monster
Toying our every move.
We keep it locked and tied
With chains that are as strong as we feel.
Secretly we want to set it free
And see our creation destroy.
Show the power that puts us on top
The one that makes everybody else our slaves.
It’s a nuclear weapon
Destroying everything in its path.
One that oozes black toxins
And feeds on our energy.
Consumes us from the inside,
Until we are just another corpse on the battle ground.
