I know of a place in a far away land
With a river of teardrops with banks of white sand
I know of a maiden in dark only shown
Who sits by the river and cries all alone
Her face is a as pale as the sand and the moon
Her cries are as chilling as the calls of a loon
Her hair is so fair, lengths of silver bond strands
By the river she sits, in the water she stands
Her eyes are of amber, so secret, so bright
Get lost in them forever, look only at night
In a simple green dress she cries and she waits
Counting the hours, still waiting on fate
This river she cried in this far away land
Someone did die on those banks of white sand
A strange unknown by the depths of mankind
A drop of strange blood was all we could find
This simple dark place so empty and broken
This maiden’s sweet cries is all that is spoken
Face all contorted as tears start to pour
Why is she there, we don’t know what for
You look in her eyes and feel like you’re blind
They simply say ‘come’ they won’t be denied
It’s a trap you will see as she draws you in
This maiden has lived a full life of sin
In her simple green dress she calls out to you
Escaping your fate you really can’t do
You’re a stranger, you see, in the depths of mankind
All that is left is all that we’ll find
A warning to all who might venture this way
To those who will seek out this land far away
Avoid the tear river all times but mid day
You cannot just visit, to come is to stay
