Do you ever feel lost about the future?  
Like you're not sure about anything....
We'll for me...
I feel that way..
Except for my best friend and the love of my life.
I'm certain they'll be in my life for a very long time.
I can say this without another thought,
a blink of an eye, or without hesitation.
Because
  I know in my heart,
they'll all be there for me
like they always have been.

We are so fragile, even though we say we're not.
We talk the big talk,
but everyone has a weakness
that can be turned against you.
I have plenty of weaknesses
and I'm sure you do,too.
Together let's stand
to protect
each other's weaknesses
as friends, lovers, and family.

You're hurting little sis,
I'm not sure what to do.
I see the pain you're in.
I'm not sure what to do,
but hug you till you're all out of tears.
Just handing you tissue after tissue.
I feel the need to protect you from this world little sister
But there's so much to protect you from I can not do it alone.
So, please, help me protect you.

I feel excited just thinking about the day we'll meet.
Everyday it's on my mind.
The way we'd run to each other after we caught each others eyes.
How we'd embrace each other.
You'd goof around messing up my hair like you said you would.
I'd try to avoid it, even though I secretly want you to.
Then we'd end up kissing with a passionate touch.
Then and there, would I know how much you wanted me.
It may not turn out that way.
Its pictured in different ways in my head, but this thought is just one of the many.
In my heart, I know I'll end up surprised by how we'll meet because you always surprise me.

You speaking of our future together,
it made my heart skip a beat.
I got those butterflies in my stomach
like I always do.
My smile greatened
and so did my heart.
The things you've done for me,
means so much.
The happiness in your voice
as we talk,
let's me know that everything is okay.
That I'm safe and that you protect me.
I feel I could do anything with you,
tell you anything,
show you anything,
let you feel everything I feel.
Just one sentence from you could make my day.

Snow trickles down all around me.
Slowly, riding down my skin,
after it lands.
I raise my hand
to catch a snow flake.
Knowing how fragile it is,
I look from a distance.
It's all around me like you are.
But, yet, I feel the need
to keep a distance
just to keep you
but yet just touching you
is hurting you.
I want to touch you
to see you  
the closer I bring you to me
the more we both hurt
trying to protect this thing that we have
that we hold sacredly to ourselves.

You're locked up,
alas, I want to rescue you.
But, I am locked up, too.
Woe is me,
and woe is you.
We must wait
till we can escape together.
