And I awoke to a thought-
a particular trance
of books burning and a bishop in hand-
I dreamed, I did
perchance of love,
of creaking snow globes shattering from above.

And a mantle lit
a fire blazing-
I'll fill this void with my gazing.
No one asked your opinions so why do you speak?
A voice so small
A voice so weak
Thrown to the floor with the shattered glass

Are you free now?
Free alas?

I'm doubting this quietly,
Such a sight so sightly-
Enrapture my hands and
poison my plans,
But you'll never win
while you're waiting to begin.

The game is starting dear
now come,
gather your fears-
Kiss them goodbye, send them afloat
they're bringing you down,
your passions they choke.

So breathe in this warm air of delight
Please notice the beauty of the night-
Resplendent stars will relume your way,
and carry you through
the haze of a day.
Everyone has thier rock,
There when you need them like time on a clock.
They are solid to your heart,
Always knowing just where to start.

Although sometimes words seem hard to hear,
Always from my rock they are clear.
My rock is sturdy and strong,
The only person i can hear when im wrong.

Even though i might be older,
My rock never gave me the cold shoulder.
I trust and believe you more the you know,
Sometimes idiot brothers dont know how to show.

Yoda nicolie chimovski my lil sister whos always been there,
Thank you for being my rock even when about myself i didnt even care.
You truly are an insperation in my mind,
Only because of you do good things i find.

Thank you Nikki for being there as best you can,
Even when i didnt know or have a plan,
I love you and sorry some times i make life hard,
But believe me with out you i'd be an even bigger ******.
apostle of balloons
chases its playful shadow
across the neatly trimmed lawn
revelling in its quick foot
and then stops short of the
pavement
as the balloons laughter heads for the distant sky
apostle of balloon
sits there on the curb
waiting for its joy to return
his eager eye scans
the ever distant sky
but that shadow now lay
entangled in treetop miles distant
trapped by the nature of the world
ever a child's dream
we await the next balloon to entice us upwards
on onwards
chasing dreams
of laughing joys
