She flickers and faints; in and out, in and out.
His eyes have captured the beauty she consumes,
now he does too.
Pupils flared, a glaze, a glare a flicker can claim.
A storm of ink blown across a defenseless leaf,
carried on an inspiration,
his had has yet to feel defeat.
She lights and dims, but fails to die
He stares, as if a soul was bound to bare
And possibly he knows more than I
But, I've yet to see an object come to life.
By no means I mean to dismiss
The beauty in the sight of a candle light,
but, yet, so inspired and in such a daze,
infatuated with a candle gaze.
She dances and teases 'till sweat drips down.
Dressing her in a lovely layered gown.
Mesmerized and in fear of her touch,
he stares as his lover turns to dust.

Whilst, I, kept My Ears Wide Open,
And heard the thoughts of you
drift upon others hearts.

Was it only bitterness that kept you for a stone,
Or was it I alone?

You kept your heart shut,
But your arms wide open for my touch,
And tears to shed for my love,
or the longing of...
Though only upon others hearts, always upon another's.

Then Why, Love, should I feel this scorn,
When my love was given,
When my love was worn,
Just to clean your hands of regret..
