I really don't know why
But I just want to cry
Let sadness flow through tears,
And with grief remember something very dear

Looking at myself
I realised that I have changed in so many ways.
Sat down cross- legged
And remembered my childhood days

I know this's all part of growing up
But I think thats beyond it.
Looking at the world today,
I decided that today's generation answered this

Well, this is my cure -
You all telling your childhood days
Living in the 80's style
Which remains a dream forever
And the reason of my cry

Todays generation is nothing
Compared to the 80-90's kids in any ways
Growing faster will never help them
But just think of your childhood days

                     (P.S.- And tell them to me too)

I can't explain how special and important to me you are;
And to add to this,  you are the reason of my survival as I discovered so far...
You are my creators, first teachers, friend, my needs and it's true;
I would be totally mad and incomplete without you...

Life is a long journey, I know
If you had a mistake, just apologize and bow
But if you don't, life seldom gives you another chance;
So learn to bow or apologize perchance

In life's long journey, God does show some grace
He sends representatives of His, to just handle our case...

Someday, all the Gods of the discussed together,
What to name the representatives, when someone suggested, "What about Father and Mother?"
And so it was... father and mother.

One day, this message finally reached earth-
'Fathers and mothers have children birth'
All were happy to know their names,
And even the poor people and lame!

Everyone yelled and thanked in delight, "Thank you O Lord,
For the sole purpose of handling my life,
Sending us these representatives of yours!"

Oh God! Oh God! Please show some grace,
Send from the heavens someone to embrace;
The situation is really tough here
Send an angel who to me is close and dear.

For my problems to understand,
May she be a girl;
She shall be my constant companion,
Who would solve my problems
in a quick whirl.

When in certain conditions,
My mind is in commotion,
She will help and guide me,
To get rid of those problems
and set them free.

For my time to pass,
She shall be such a person
With whom I can fight and play,
Or just have some fun you may say.

In the end, I asked God,
"This question to you may be odd,
But what should I call this person,
Who will make my difficulties lessen?"

"Let me think", He said.
Then His dictionary He read;
"This person according to me,
is called a sister you see!"

I lifted my arms and shouted in delight,
With happiness glowing on my face very bright,
I then called my father and mother,
And said,"See what I received from God, a SISTER!"
