Tear stained face, fragile and weak , there's nothing beneath,
cracks begin to emerge , people can see in, but you cover them up ,
you don't want them to see your hurt , the struggle of everyday ,
trying so hard to keep it together , but the darkness keeps pulling her in, slowly blackening her , till she is smothered and she is no more.

Dark eyes , deep stare , chapped lips, frizzy hair , pale skin , frail and thin.
you look inside but no one's in.
A drained and lifeless body lye's still , if you moved her she would break
like glass fragile outside and in. She's got the look of death so cold and still ,
drowning in the darkness till she is no more.

Things unsaid , forgotten , like they never happened , secrets uncovered ,
hidden under layers of darkness , hurt and anger ,
why did all of this happen , unable to cope , she want's to forget the hurt ,
She want's to forget it all , the pain is draining her , She doesn't want this hurt any-more ,
Drowning in darkness till she is no more.

She hate's when its time to sleep , she feel's so alone .
Isolated in this box of bad memories , of doubts , fear , sadness ,  what if's ,
And things she has never said or done. Regrets burn her deep , but what's done is done. She would like to awake from this nightmare and for all of this pain to be over. She feel's her pulse quicken then slow , She wished she had a heart of stone.
The darkness smothers her till she is no more.
