Running through a forest, Following a shadow Stumbling over twigs My bare foot steps in a puddle ***** and muddy. Where am I going? Why am I running? Cold wind blows through my hair Noises drown my fear Darkness wraps me in a cocoon My breath has been stolen Again and again. The ground trembles The trees wither Death catches up with us Sooner or later.
a swift death is hardly fair to miss every moment, every smile, every promise as pink and white blow through the air the heart fills with inexplicable pain, unimaginable love running through veins reaching into souls I miss you incredibly, beautiful cherry blossom
This poem was written about my Uncle who had passed away. Similar to the beautiful cherry blossom, his death was quick and sudden.
