November…
The month of yellow leaves,
breezy winds, and unfinished feelings.
A quiet unease drifts through the air.

The month of broken hearts,
half-told love stories…
Of feeling left behind,
of feeling alone.

I envy the immortality of poets and writers—
how their spirits linger through the beauty they’ve penned.
You reminded me that words, though born of mortal hands,
can render our fleeting lives eternal.

Our love shall live on in these letters.
Long after we’re gone, our great-grandchildren—
even strangers who never knew our names—
will read them and feel the pulse of what we were.
In their minds, we’ll rise again.

When I leave this world,
let these precious lines be my footprints.
I’ll carry no regrets—
for I’ll meet you in a better place,
and our story will echo long after we’re gone.

They will know that we were here.
We lived, we loved, and we departed—
wrapped in joy, hand in hand.
And as we cross into eternity,
these words will keep our flame alive in this fleeting world.

While sunlight blinds our eyes,
while I sit in your lap,
bathed in golden warmth,
and drinking in the view—
they will be reading this billet doux.

Whether in shadow or light,
being with you is always worth celebrating.
Every moment—each glance, each sound of your voice—
feels like a quiet miracle.

Time bends around us, slipping through our fingers
like golden sand—too fast, too fleeting.
The only sorrow is knowing
our time together always ends.

When I’m with you, I crave eternity.
I want our moments to stretch beyond time,
to live outside clocks and calendars.
Can you promise me forever?
Can we make time stand still—together?

I hold no power against death.
When its time arrives, it will take you from me—or me from you.
Yet I feel no fear,
because I know I’ll meet you on the other side.

Everything ends.
And when the final page turns,
you’ll find me there—
waiting.

A toast to new beginnings—
may the dark past blur and the future blaze bright.
Heaven won’t wait for me,
so I must go ahead.

I’ll bathe in holy waters,
sip wine from the sacred grail,
feast, rejoice,
and wait for you.

When your soul slips free
and you step into Heaven’s light,
I’ll be the only thing you seek—
and I’ll be right there.

Nothing lasts forever.
We’ve reached our end.
We consumed every beautiful feeling—
and drained each other dry.

I embraced you, flaws and all.
I saw you in your highest light,
and in your darkest storm.
I saw the faces you wore
when you loved me
and when you scared me.

Now I’m a wreckage on the tracks,
and recovery feels impossible.
But I won’t make the same old mistakes.
I won’t commit the same old sins.

I’ll never love the same way again.
I’ll never trust like that again.
And I’ll never let you fool me again.

Yes, I’ll sleep until it all fades.
But I won’t wake up beside you.

I’ll watch the sea in summer—
when the water is impossibly blue.
And I won’t think about what we once did.
I’ll only let it give me hope—
to begin again.
Alone.

I must go far away.
To a place you’ll never find me.

I’m a rootless flower,
floating on the surface of the water,
carried wherever the current dares to take me.

I have no roots,
no ties to anyone.

If I cross paths with you while floating,
we can bloom together—
until the current pulls us toward separate shores.

I won’t mourn you.
I will keep floating,
on my own.

I do not fear the rocks ahead
or the wildness of the tide.

And one day,
you’ll come across another rootless flower—
and you’ll forget
I ever existed.

The moment our bodies pull like magnets,
I’ll wrap my legs around you and draw you in.
We’ll close our eyes and vanish into the pulse of pleasure—
addicts chasing color behind shut lids.
Send me your sins; I am ready for the divine exchange.
This is a form of worship.

Every inch of me is prepared for your reverence.
Gentle touches will give way to rough kisses and bites.
Days will melt into nights,
the moon replacing the sun,
and still, we’ll remain in our chamber—
like fire and gunpowder.

Strike the match.
Set us alight.
I fear no flame,
for burning with you is its own kind of high.
Let me lose all sense of time when I’m with you.
