Love
Serena Lynch Apr 2012
Caring for another,
living for them,
giving them your all,
not regretting knowing them.
Saving them from danger,
giving them strength,
never giving up on them.
Forgiving their mistakes,
helping solve their problems,
nurturing them.
Helping them cope,
giving them hope,
learing their perspective,
respecting them,
giving them ideas.
Comfort them,
hold them,
teach them,
understand them.
Love them.

Thinking..
What to think.
Thoughts floating,
sitting, staying,
wanting to run free!..
with no judgement..
living..
in my head,
in my heart.
Say something wrong?
Happens..
We fear imperfection,
we strive for perfection.
We live..
but do we live free?
Free of worries,
free of pain,
free of judgement..
when we do..
will we be happy?

If I fell in love..
with you..
I would treat you right.
I would hold you up to the stars,
and see how you shine brighter.
I would take you to the moon,
to see how much you pull me in.
I would walk through a snowstorm,
and still feel warm inside.
I would throw away everything,
and live only for you.

Enough
Serena Lynch Apr 2012
What is enough anymore.
We feel pain, and we feel love.
We feel everything,
but what is enough.
Is marriage enough?
Is getting your dream job enough?
Is having a family enogh?
Enough to make you stop worrying,
stop yearning, stop craving perfection..
We strive to reach the stars but when we do,
we fall off,
or forget..
That we shine on forever,
and stars die.. they burn out..
and happiness will too,
if we don't learn to love what we have,
and make it enough.

Living Life
Serena Lynch Apr 2012
Shining Sun,
Tired Rain,
Colors Showing Through.
Flapping Wings,
Singing in the Wind,
Making Colors New.
Sweet Smells on
Sweet Things,
Giving of Their Scents.
Bright Stars,
Shining on,
Giving Light,
Never Ending.
Smile Down on our Faces,
Giving Warmth,
Kisses, Satisfaction,
and Sight.
