I loved you so sweetly, but our love went sour.
I gave you my all and what was mine was ours.
But you wanted to move on and find something better.
I guess it's whatever, I just hope that you remember,
no one will love you as much as I loved you.
And one day while staring into the eyes of someone new,
you'll realize you made a mistake and miss the old view.
I wish I could forget that you ever existed.
Replace all my memories of you so I can never say I miss it.
I've lost all hopes in finding something to fill the void,
but my feelings for you is something I can't avoid.
I gave my heart to you, to keep and to care for.
But here it is now,
returned and destroyed.
Gentle like the rain or as rough as a hurricane.
Never looking for something real, she's only in it for the thrill.
Up and down, around she'll go.
Always high so she never feels low.
Runnin' wild with drinks to chase it.
She has no heart, she said she misplaced it.
She's poppin' pills until it kills, drugs in her veins to numb the pain.
Slowly destroying herself by trying to stay sane.
