Up on morning’s dawn,
Looking out on blue ocean calm sea,
Nighttime sleep washed from my eyes,
Black coffee pours into my cup,
Steam raises Sunday slow sips,
Lips warmed,
Past week remembered,
New week planned,
Just sittin back gazing out,
Sunshine blue skies enfold me,
Morning’s day captures me,
Tis my lazy day just to be,
Oh lazy, Oh lazy old me.

Ancient warrior standing midday sun,
Light glitters on his armor,
Sword and shield held in his hands,
While standing above on grass,
With forty shades of green.

Morning rain on worn trail mirrors,
Our path woven between tall pines,
Trunks drawn dark lines,
Against filtered light of grey skies above,
One step at a time walking,
On a journey through measured time,
Where distance and time are one

We both discovered,
Each our hearts,
With our souls matched,
In forever feelings,
Sharing in love eternal.

Longing hearts
Yearn to be one,
We shall meet early,
Wind, Rain or shine,
On our path again,
Beside the River,
Warm smiles shall greet,
Hands will clasp,
Both shall walk,
Perhaps have a kiss,
Our hearts are one.

Up ended,
Knees showing,
Public place,
She giggles.
