Arbor Day
Sean MacDonald Nov 2014
It was a cold dark night when we first meet
You took me by surprise yea I'll admit
Every since then I've been yours
A day without you i abhor

Take me to the mountains take me to the shore
When I'm with you I cant ask for more
Wrapping you tight, packing you down
Show me the world lets spread your love round
Once I was lost with you I am found

You're the spark I need in my life, when I spark you I feel just right

Love you in my car, love you in the park
Loving you alone, love you when it's dark
I got to get you into my life, I'm so glad I picked up the advise

Yea my baby's misunderstood they got her all wrong
A flowering love that's long, long, long
If you see my baby stop and say high
Let her take your hand and she'll open you mind

Nothing and Everything
Sean MacDonald Nov 2014
I am the perpetrator and I am the victim, I am injustice inside a just system
I am the cause and I am the effect, I am your first and very last breath
I am death and I am birth, I am no where and everywhere on Earth
I am happiness and I am depression, I am decadence in recession
I am color and it absence, I am teen pregnancy and I am abstinence
I am sobriety and I am intoxication, I am numbness and I am sensation
I am beloved and I am hated, I am optimistic and I am jaded
I am sorry and I wont apologize, I am naked and I am in disguise
I am blindness and I am sight, I am a pacifist caught in a fight
I am hello I am goodbye, I am yours and you are mine
I am black and I am white, I am what is wrong and what is right
I am everything and nothing at all, we are all everything and nothing at all
