the stars trickle in anticipation
their glow flickering behind wisps of passing clouds
a silence perceived solely by the sky's septum
unfolds into an echo both solitary and surmount
the heaven's tantrum results in bursts
falling like dagger victim to gravity's pull

they are leaving!
they are leaving!
faces appear, gazing into a tireless void
surrounded by light - engulfed by black
bodies rolling on grass lay still for moments
allowing themselves a sinful thing;
to sink deep into the ground

Sean Dimech Dec 2013
here it comes
the end is nigh
a crooning crow
patrols the sky
the lake reflects
a crescent moon
as god's old land
lay now in ruin

and were the world
lay now ahead
oh sleeping distance
where to tread
where to run
or where to hide
as life distorted
creeps through behind

battered thought
upon cleansed sin
we gaze in awe
her benevolence
eternal rise
pink and grey
oh conflicting beauty
lead us astray

wanderlust turn
thought to dust
bleeding greed
turn will to must
charging future
twist my words
feed on bone
as preyless birds

a ****** of crows
now they coo
our withering souls
long overdue
the glistened waters
reflect dark clouds
he comes to reap
we must avow

White man, white man, come and go
Through foreign land of indigo
Scatter bullets, purge grass plains
Push away the harvest rains
Tattered robes embrace patch grass
Thumping way for progress pass
To a timeless change now they succumb;
A peaceful mind now turning numb

Guardian Angel
Sean Dimech Jun 2013
Guardian angel,
Soaring through black skies,
Remove me from temptation,
Cast by fiery devil-eyes.
Watcher of mortality;
Soft nature known to all,
Lay your hands upon me,
Lift me over mountain's fall.

For when darkness enters mind,
I stray upon endless shores of gray.
No wings to pick me up and,
No winds to cast reaching seas away.

Guardian Angel,
Gliding above black clouds,
Rest me as caterpillar in cocoon,
Exposing demons within shrouds.
Watcher of mortality;
Reach further than before.
Seek me through confusion,
And in quiet seek me more.

For when darkness enters mind,
Reason strays beyond boundaries of men.
No sense in the domain of devlish beast,
Illusion casting it's spell again and again.

Lucid Girl
Sean Dimech Feb 2013
Oh Lucid girl, in darkness bound
These mirrored walls have blinding sights;
Not illusion, not deceit, these soul-shattering steps
Have only such purpose as to blacken these nights.
Should thunder strike, must you swirl into it's trance.
'd have you climb to the heav'ns, past gates of God's pass
Not strung like a puppet, curved as a hurricanes dance;
Then shovel my grave out your life, once and last...
Oh Lucid girl, lifeless misery-sunk
You were led into darkness by the pied piper's song.
Seduced by the tangent whistling shadows
Their trickery has tortured and left you hung.
Oh Lucid girl, no light set down on you;
Yet upon my sight your beauty shone through.

Drunken Politician
Sean Dimech Jan 2013
There's nothing better than a man full of lies
A man full of debt with his mind 'tween his thighs
As long as he's here all your money will pass
His heart never fails yet he speaks from his ***

Now we're going down to a pub in the city
A corporate beer for a day that's been ******
Truth reveals, it's our time to sound
Dig a hole full of shame,
Stick your head underground

He walks around like he owns the **** place
Mark my sweet words, we'll be marking your face
Black suit, black tie, just a penny a lie
He fills us with debt, money captures his eye

A drunk! A drunk! We all fancy truth.
Let's all get him drunk and just end this dispute.
Fill him with beer, find the goldmine alas;
The beer keeps on flowing till truth pours out his ***!

Balance
Sean Dimech Jan 2013
The tip of a blade
Sharp as the mind which forged it
Has pierced morality
Blunted steel
Swift and light
Has purged grounds of once dancing man
Gentle winds pushing tides
Wreckage after wreckage
The seas left in the hands of land-walkers
Omnipotence cast aside
The madness in eros retreats
Requiescat in pace

Mountains folding
Now wait for the blackened sky
Descending
The peace has been stolen
No balance remain
Longing a rising sun
Sit in moonlight,
Pray
Breath by breath
A Samurai's sword
The quickened in body and soul
Casts away a dying wind

Scattering Illusions
Sean Dimech Jan 2013
They say you are immune to sin
Convinced it shadows through your skin
Yet all the while you sit in past alone.
They reel you in, say you're a catch
While behind you lies another batch
And all around they build a cage of stone

The lightning strikes, no thunder sounds
You take one step, you're out of bounds
Now they sever all your flesh from bone.
They take it all, your mind and soul
Lock you in a furnace filled with coal
Still willingly you appear to build their throne

You realize you're no more God's son
They've molded you into a walking gun
Made to pillar all that seems as gold.
They changed reflection in your mirror
With a weary look and a wide blank stare;
Forever you are clay for them to mold

Tears of Blood
Sean Dimech Dec 2012
Slaves and women told how cities were forged;
Through contest of blood; battered shield, shattered sword.

The edge of a blade would spark the acid in rain,
The lash of a whip clenched man's riddance of pain.

The Day We Walked in Hell
Sean Dimech Nov 2012
Silenced stories of restless scythe,
They broke the swarms, drove through the night.
Contagious wound, shrapnel and bite;
Friend now foe, come morning light.
Blood-stained walls of every height,
Repressing zounds of res extensa wight.
Bar up the exits, show no light;
They hide in shadow, starve themselves at night.

Hell's devilish approach, we face God's wrath;
An alliance we form, an escape we path.
Betrayal a necessity, fight for our own.
A dozen to ten, ten cuts me alone.

Tread lightly, tread lightly,
Shelter in fear.
No God and no hope,
There's no one left here.

They ambush me now, ten thousand to one,
I've found a companion, just me and my gun.

Gun and Claw
Sean Dimech Nov 2012
Enter the eyes of majority;

Rigid words sunk into his soft-spoken skin;
Pale faces like dominoes, fresh and ready to drop.
Mother Nature's clothing hung from identical bait.
Peace-keepers and their machinery, step, step, hop.
Honor gained at morality's cost;
Foreign lands to the eyes of a hawk leaves no pause
Their claws evacuate a population of concrete heart.
No mercy or plea can stop them from fighting for their cause.
Blind bangs targeted at their prayers and hopes
Bouncing, or breaking through a bull's eyed wall.
Pupils diluted as a distant, scorching Sun
Returning depression; pictures flung on a golden painted hall.

Exit the eyes of majority, enter the tongue of grievance

The Winding Vines
Sean Dimech Oct 2012
The darkness swung from tree to tree,
Removing sight from whence;
The lovers legend came to be,
And stay at second glance.
Through miles and miles of foreign lands,
Across a thousand seas.
A stranger traveled to find but a man,
Knelt down on hands and knees.
Not a word to speak or song to sing,
Not even a time to tell.
Just a glance and smile would ever bring,
A fall under eachothers spell.

With sunrise and sundown again and again,
With light and dark throughout,
Their passion for the other was all the same,
One just wouldn't speak the words aloud.
At dusk when light was all but here,
And shadows were only seen,
They would spark a flame to light the air,
And would cover up where they have been.
As secrets reveal and legends tell,
Through sleep their hearts would glow.
A bright blue shine that lit the place,
Brought them together and wouldn't let go.
Still morn did come and their minds drew back,
To the doubt of the others love,
And so did their days and nights turn black,
But they never did give up.

So many days passed, so many days gone,
Until the moment came for them,
When they both became one.

So as the sun did rise they took a trip,
Into a dark and desperate cave,
And whence they entered the black,
They saw their hearts glow blue and wave.
Fascinated by the sight, believing only heart.
They didn't hold back or fight, but began what only dreamt would start
And now they sleep on foreign land
Resting safely to the sound of chimes.
Two creatures' love, a woman, a man,
Creeping slowly, the winding vines.

Poison of Regret
Sean Dimech Oct 2012
they spoke to me and reassured
that the house was made of wooden doors
i couldn't look as the body lay
face down in blood with hands and feet on floor
but her voice echoed like a melody
running through the corridor just before he left
how could i resist such an offer
which only required my arms and wrists in cleft?
there was more to separating sins
than a focused mind chained to a steady hand
she was the witch in it all
yet i was the fool to have supplied her demand

her words ran through my mind like a metaphor
as i walked to pull the curtains and close the door
there were eyes beside, inside and below
still all i recognized was the familiar sounding blow
the splatter of relief, the push of regret
the drenching touch of guilt set to infinite
my body turned to face a shadowed form of deceit
dimpled cheeks and glowing satisfaction head to feet
i'd done her work and paid the price for naivety
within a minute she ran from there to beyond infinity
all that was left to see was a man down on his knees
contemplating a clenching self-inflicted please

but who could hear through a room with sound-proofed walls?
Who would recognize a plea for mercy through a set of wooden doors?
And who besides myself saw sin dripping through the floors?

Walk Away
Sean Dimech Oct 2012
Tonight, this day, I confess the sins,
Expose the troubles of a blind child.
Of his present regrets, his anguish,
Of the life he left behind.

With no faith in God, and hope for the wrong,
A helpless boy asks what the future holds.
He plagued himself, with another life;
One of lonely days and bumpy roads.

On a sunny night, he scanned his paths,
Looking for every excuse to remove his own existence.
And what he realised, through the deepest thought was,
Everything seems so much better from a distance.

All he ever wanted, all he really needed,
Was the comfort of the unaware.
Yet he looked for it through silence,
Through self- hatred, a lack of care.
She was yet to see right through his smile,
Yet to realise, he didn't plan to stay.
So he packed regret, stomped his pain,
And never looked back as he walked away.

His roads were dark, his eyes so burning,
As he walked into a net tangled in emotion;
His steady pace fell, his knees ached,
Yet he continued on to a poison-drunk ocean.

His thirst for love, hunger for a friend,
Let his humanity and desperation stay.
Still he kicked and punched his memories
As he told himself, 'Just walk away'.
Just walk away.

Seasons Extreme
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Draw a narrow road with a man standing in the distance,
The sun is setting and his shadow moves for an instance;
What is this symbolizing? What does this mean?
In the background, sea, salted waters, filled with chlorine.
Don't get too caught up in this life-like dream,
Almost real, but all too extreme.

Painted man walks up to you and speaks,
"I am None, I represent the Freaks."
Sun stops setting, just stands right there,
Gleaming rays, upon it a face appears.
Chlorine waters turn into rough seas,
Winter's come and the painted man freeze.
The winds so strong seem to play you a song;
Not such a nice tune, and ever so long.
The faced sun runs away from the cold,
Winter ruled all, all it controlled.

Pebbly beaches, umbrellas at shore,
Painted man alive and the sun rise once more.
The cold got heatstroke, the seas all calmed down,
The painted man, from the sun he turned brown.
Leaves falling down, that season has come,
Trees so bare, no more growing plumb.
Final season, makes you so sad;
Drawing leaves you from your sketchpad.

Canvas Poetry
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Daybreak sets the mist on the curving road
A man behind the window peeks with mystery
Watching with eagerness still so alone,
He knows it all, but what can’t he see?

Hollow walls crawl with echoes of laughter,
Tables infested with sketches and scribbles,
Blank frames hung gently upon the concrete,
An open gallery, showing all the exhibitions.

Butterflies cocooned for the winter’s drive,
An anthology of this art which assembles soon,
To watch the creator once more turn them to life,
To see the set of the sun and rise of the moon.

The door cracks open and a shadow is cast,
Which is chained to the mold of her beauty.
A darkened room is brightened instantly,
I see her face but the vision soon leaves me.

An omen of my misery,
Open eyes to sight of pain.
Till the sun meets the horizon,
I shall meet you once again.

True Beauty
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Blossom like the stars of night
So distant they keep, so bright they shine
Bloom like the beauty within
Which is yet to flourish, yet to claim mine.
Explore the world, so sleek and still
Slither slowly through the wonders of life,
Like the green eyed snake going in for her ****,
Like the dogs of night struggle and strife.
Trust the moon, stare into it's eyes
Lie deep confided in the chamber,
Where secrets have been kept and replaced by lies.
Where the buffalo runs with fear.

As you guard you insecurities from the people around,
Know that howling wolves guard your dreams tonight.
The fox struts forward towards that one,
Who in dreams and reality shows you the light.
Know the only cries to shed this black sun,
Are those of the unwary and those of foes.

And do you dream like me?
Does your head wonder away from pain?
Do you try to make what's night come day?
Or do you leave things all the same?
I am trapped in the reality of night,
I came here and I stay.
I dared to go to new heights,
Won't you come with me and play?
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Birds would sing and fox would dance
With the moonlight and her radiant glow
But tonight ran stiff the silence and trance
As at morn' the sun will shine no more
A curse done by the ruthless witch,
Who sat and laughed, side by side the wolves
What should be said, maybe a trick?
Or shall we send in the men on hooves?
But no forces can penetrate her black,
No creature can fool the immortal howls.
Not the Eagle, not the lion or the hawk,
Not even the endless stares of owls.
Still the gallows dug deep inside the secrets,
Of the crystal forests and their queen.
Voice like a million angels, blue light She emits
Carrying the spirit of the forests where she has been.

So fairies called upon her,
Showing both heart and soul,
Rising from the river,
She brought with her a glow.
Eyes like the green of trees,
Hands like the creator's.
But within her lied true beauty,
Drawn with crystal tears.

She saw the blackness stood so still,
She saw the dull looks of her friends.
Knowing once more She must ****,
For the sun to rise again.

Anger and much sorrow,
Must She end to start?
Younger grew the glow.
B.ut broken was Her heart.

So She ended this curse with Her magic,
And light shone through the trees.
And though Her life was true bleak,
She found pleasure as they were free.
Now the birds do sing and fox do dance,
And She returned back home to rest.
Throwing crystal chimes and at last,
Sunshine in the Crystal Forest.

Reflection of the Caves
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Dark and desperate caves fill our destiny,
Continuously moulded by the hands of white horses.
We shall pledge our allegiance here,
And I will finally become one with your forces.
Ships and ships of cargo pass through,
Carrying only our thoughts and queries,
Stopping only for the wise and free spirits,
And starting their journey whence the worries.
Can I meet the blue spirit that lives here?
If to ask for something so simple, so special.
Lagoons lie outside and ****** us with golden sands,
But temptation cannot withhold how we feel.

Will you...
Will you?
Only if to find my weakness,
Only if to be beaten,
And a tie commences which penetrates us.
Like children opening eyes to the new world,
We dance inside and emotions are spilled.
We cry so softly, echoes of joy are heard.

Stepping from these dark and desperate caves,
The moon congratulates our arrival to Earth.
Pacing every step with golden statues surrounding us,
But not millions are as valued as what you're worth.

The sun cannot replace you,
The moon cannot compare.
Without you I can't do,
All I need is you to be near.

Seconds of Self-Hatred
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
So why's the sun bleeding?
Oval feathers leap to jump
False illusion treaty
Mind twist and mind ****
Applauding to the skies we find ourselves
Lost in fantasy or lost in the real world?
Declare ourselves insane, out of our minds
While yellow lights keep flashing out of sight

So out of sight is out of mind?
And out of mind is never forgotten?
Blasphemous signs of alien intrusion
Stating themselves as a part of the new constitution
Maybe another day we shall meet?
Over rainbow land where fairies fly and sprinkle dust
Which in consequence stings us
Wakes us up just to wish to sleep again
Clearly my friends none of us are insane

So we're all the same, we're not insane?
Then where do we point our fingers to put the blame?
If the feather drifts way to the sun
Which bleeds for our sins
And dies just to be resurrected
Hallowed be thy name oh innocence of ours
Echo the shouts through hours and hours
Of undecided fate which is yet to be
Yet to be and yet to see
So close your eyes, yes keep them shut
Don't show emotions, don't open your mouth

So if we keep our mouths closed then we are cleansed from lies?
Or do lies evolve as we grow daily?
Spreading faster than the rays which have been sent upon us
Taking effect quicker than today's deadliest drugs
Bleed, twist your mind and jump
Applaud yourself once more for your discovery
Laugh, cry not to dream not to be
And when the day is over, remember, I'm imaginary

Gray Rose
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
She speaks to me through Winter's night,
At the clash of fearless winds and tides.
Within whispers of memoired days that passed,
I find myself entangled in each others grasp.
Like a summer's day I forget the tomorrows,
Unworthy challenges, expectancies and sorrows,
Letting go of my anger and unattended pain,
Her whispers are the only things that keep me sane.
I close my eyes to the sound of aquatic gusts,
Invisioning the days we've spent sharing eachother's lust.
Through a swirl of thought I sit beside you,
With petals of flowers falling upon each shoe.
My arm grips you tight as if hanging for salvation,
Yet still we hold a certain fear of confrontation.
We path our way with big and small footsteps,
Through unearthed soil, we silently crept.
The view was shallow; yellow with blue,
I gazed my eyes upon this priceless view.
Amongst an ocean of grass and rooted flowers,
Lay a lonely rose, purveying endless thorn-showers.
How risky and deep and precious the thought,
That within grass and sunflowers, a rose has been brought.
My hands reach to grip, but my eyes twinge with pain,
A sudden push through my lungs, and rush through my veins.
I wake up confused, my dream disappears,
But you my gray rose, you're always right here.

Beacon In The Black
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Upon a blazing dream lies a girl I used to know
Deep green stare and a paralyzing touch
She cut herself with the edge of broken glass
For within her soul was a sin she knew too much

She played with fire on a long black rope
Outside circuses that demanded money-throwing crowds
Walking through unfolding walls and closing doors
Throwing blinding stares and deafening sounds

She traded whiskey for a kiss from the ocean
Like a gypsy making money for the poor
I turned my eyes for a second and she was gone
Gone to wander within the reaches of the ocean shore

The sky grew darker, the clouds turned into mist,
Below her feet lay a wooden creaky deck.
She rowed for years as her hands soaked up her agony,
She rowed and rowed into an unforgiving black.

Spirals of light went off within her mind.
Her eyes opened and closed to a distant growing flash.
Cocooned upon a tiny open boat invisible from land,
She listened to the thunder's deadly roar and slash....

One Night's Thoughts
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
Did you check within your dream?
Are you hiding in your sleep?
Has this world become surreal?
Follow me

Bless the night
Bless the sky
Bless the woman who conceived this child

Bless the tide
Bless every lie
Bless he who lets his imagination run wild

You judge me for my judgment upon right and wrong
But what is good and what is bad?
Nothing
Neutrality
What is cast as good through the mass is later protested against in majority for the wrong choice.
Wrong again.
Eyes sinking in deep thought
The blackness you carry has been a burden not only to yourself
Your past is circling you and all you do is cry
You replace the beauty of nature with artificiality
Like the flowers in your vase which once required care
Now cast into a world of no restrain or effort

You say you understand
But do you really?
Or are you yet again simply judging my thoughts based upon the facts you know about both you and I?

The grass you lie upon will later burn you and cause you to lose what is known to man as 'sanity'. In the future you will rest upon dreams, rely upon liars, welcome the unworthy, lift your servants, free the captives and live what you have thought impossible.
Be thankful I am tired for my mind is restricted to a line of thought so thin that once concentration is lost, there is no return.

Forever By Our Sides
Sean Dimech Aug 2012
She saw the stars shine bright when the city lights were on
And remembered every face of those people now gone

She recited every passage from her favourite fairy tale,
Just as a poet would recite a work soon to unveil

She believed in magic and stories meant to deceive
But the one time I'd laughed at that, she made me believe

She dreamt of the winter's winds when summer came
And in the heat of it all, she would pray for rain

She would play with fire when her mother was depressed
Just to occupy her mind, and clear it from all extra stress

The walls would whisper of her humble generosity
And when they asked her how she does it she answered,
Happiness and laughter is the only thing this world should see

But most of all,
She made a young boy laugh, a grown man cry
A shattered heart heal, an injured bird fly
A worried friend calm, a suicidal smile wide
And when we needed her most, she stood by our side

Seeing only what her eyes desired

Casting her furious roar and shaking the Earth

Pathing the sands of her empire

Making belief for what it’s worth
