A wooden heart
that bleeds out sap
so why does it burn so much
is the wood rotten?
or does it feel
that the sap is not wanted?
nature is a folly thing
when it doesn't flow
wouldn't it be so much better
if we could all have hearts that cry?

So raise your Pretty little Flag
Tell people to be beautiful inside
Practice Peace and Harmony
and never look down on anyone
Unfortunately the enemy is still inside
the demons will crush the revolution in the end
built on sand, made of straw
at least it will last a little while
but then maybe it could take, if there was little enough of a breeze
to not blow the dreams away
it could all be so wonderful
at least for a liitle while
if all our own little pretty flags could be raised to the sky

i was a rose
now i am a stone
water will wear me down
as the wind tore away at my flower
truly there was no peace
how does a storm subside
with no ill intents
but with remains with what was that lost
the warmth of the cold sunshine
stormy and forlorn
never seen, never found, never the way

if i were a sad soul
would you make me smile
would you wonder how
to bring me up from the rain puddles
or would you even see me,
ask me how i am?
as a dry thorn
as petals that love
to the thirsty and lonesome
how are you?
butterflies and rain

Common as Pebbles
As Cold as Heavy Rain
The Warmth never Reaches
Those Left Undone
The Cold and the Lonely
Will Never be Found
So Bring a Little more Love
So That a Fearless Heart may Sing

Freedom is always Fought
Freedom is always Unfelt
Perhaps if we could Misunderstand
that Freedom is a Beauty
To be Harmonized and Loved
enforced and dealt
we could begin to see
that Freedom is the Key
To Freedom itself should Be

it falls into roses
and into the white
the sand in the winds
an hourglass overturned
as riddles play in the sun
darkness slowly fades
the lonely to the stone
the living to the light
roses fell, another heart shines
to yours truly
