My Love
Sarah O Connor Aug 2011
I loved you,
I lived you,
I laughed with you,
I changed with you,
I cried about you,
I lied about you,
I danced with you,
I smiled with you,
I tried with you,
Until that faithful day,
when I died with you.

So my dear as I sit and remember,
you feel all so near,
All those days when I thought I’d have you forever,
make me feel like I wasn’t very clever,
I miss you more and more,
Although thinking about you I never bore,
With all those times we shared,
and oh how you cared,
Many nights alone I spend thinking about the depths of your eyes,
wishing and hoping that my love for you never dies.

Life Lessons
Sarah O Connor Aug 2011
Sing like it’s your last chance;
walk like you mean to dance.
Shout make your mamma proud;
ain't no harm in being loud.

Watch time go by?
ok, but not without giving life a try.
Don’t waste your life away;
all it takes is one faithful day.

March up and down the streets;
let’s help call out the creeps.
To make the world a better place;
you’ve gotta be willing to give them a chase.

Shoot for the moon and land among the stars;
you won’t get locked behind bars.
Make your dreams come true;
even if it’s just for you.

Take life day by day;
we can’t spend it wishing it away.
Times are hard but they pass;
just remember that first class.

Although this poem may not help;
just remember there are much better things than wealth.
People live and people die;
but there’s always a place for you in someone’s eye.

Bullies
Sarah O Connor Aug 2011
You stalked like a crow;
I took the blow.
You made the joke;
I took the poke.

You blew it up;
hit me like a truck.
I tried to hide;
it felt like no-one was on my side.

You left a mark;
at times it made me feel dark.
I pulled through;
what’s left of you?

It took you time to realise;
I was beginning to rise.
I played the game;
left you with your shame.

Made my dream come true;
in time that flew.
Through all that pain;
not in vain.
I’m the winner, while you’re struggling for your dinner.
